Thatās an amazing difference and looks great! Iām a big fan of the rattle can projects. š
might not be a bad idea to ceramic coat the wheels while that brand new paint is fresh.
The most obvious place to start is the inappropriate use of ducks on a non-Jeep vehicle or in a non-Jeep video, right? Full auto revolversā¦maybe. A duck on the hood of a red convertible⦠no way. š
Iām sorry to hear this happened but I really appreciate you posting it. I just came in from checking tire pressure, etc to go for the first mtb ride tomorrow and I always carry my giant friggin Jeep key in the pocket of a small hydration pack. I can see myself 100% doing exactly what you did...
Congrats! I liked this one more than most of the promotional Jeeps they put out there. Iām interested to hear how the process goes for you and see pics once you are done.
I like where your ideas are going and think canvas would look good. You might have success with a place like Covercraft that makes custom car covers or even a sail makers shop.
I always liked the wood bed look too. There is a place called Bedwood that makes wood bed kits. They are expensive...
Good question Eric. From time to time I think about picking one up to make a matching trailer out of. I know there are commercially available options but some things are just more satisfying to make with my own hands.
so, a follow on question to Ericās: has anyone looked into availability in...
I agree - the Armorlite might be my favorite Gladiator upgrade out of all money spent so far. The Clayton lift is a close second though. I got mine from another member here brand new in the box. It was a little work to install it but well worth the effort.
Iām still planning to come also but Iāve been in Christiana Hospital with my Dad all week. He is on multiple blood thinners from having a cardiac catheter/stent two weeks ago and he fell Sunday and hit his head resulting in multiple brain bleeds. Iāll make a judgement call later tomorrow...
@blownbayou What is this trick?
2) If you have the Alpine Premium System (nav on the radio) Take a pillow and place it under the driver side passenger seat.... It works... trust me.
I had a Dodge Ramcharger on 35ā Denman Ground Hawgās in the 1980ās. most of us were on 35 or 36ās but we did have two guys that went to 44ās. Mostly mud and sand in the South Jersey Pine Barrens. Big tires are definitely not a new thing.
I donāt think I have seen so many full size trucks going through there. Where they towing trailers for side by sides or actually taking them through the trails?
This is such a cool idea, and very well executed. When I was in the Navy I had opportunity to ride in the back of the CH 46ās and always thought it would be good garage seating to get some of those and do a similar plan. i like the comfort and design of this Gladiator seat much better. Bonus...
