Well, your opinion on what to do is way more important than mine when it comes to your Mojave, but Iām happy to include my thoughts here for you to consider. I intentionally bought a High Altitude because I wanted all the interior bells and whistles and I knew I was going to remove everything...
I donāt own one but I have looked at these before. I like the construction and the capability. If you go to an RV show they will likely be there and have a price discount on them that is difficult to pass up.
When you can, the vacuum in the jar holds the top tight enough that you do not need the threaded part of the lid? I will one day build a deer proof garden and learn to can my own stuff but donāt know enough about it yet.
Changed from the American Racing Outlaw to Raceline Boost wheels. Went from 0 offset to +35 to bring the 35x12.50ās back under the fender. I like a little poke but the 0 offset had the tires about 3ā outside the rear fender and they were too far out for my liking.
If someone is taking their Gladiator off road at all, this is the first thing I always recommend. Inexpensive, easy to install yourself with simple hand tools, but one of the single best investments I have made. I found out about these when I needed to repair both sides of mine after limping...
I like the idea of a meet up. Thanks for starting this thread Jeremy. The Tap House one is about 150 miles each way so I wonāt be making that one but Iāll follow this thread for updates.
Excellent craftsmanship and impressive work. Are you happy with the sound? I saw that you added Armorlite (maybe the best mod I have done) and Hothead headliners. Do you feel like that made enough difference to appreciate the quality of sound from your system?
I bought the spec gate and a couple of the accessories when they first posted in this forum. They were very quick to ship the products and were very helpful. Iām disappointed to hear something may have gone wrong for their business.
Iām near Skippack. My Gladiator is also my daily driver but I take it off-road at the usual PA places whenever I can make it to a forum meet up there and also go to the Pine Barrens a few times per year. Iām not part of any club. Never been to the Jeep show you mentioned either but Iām open...
Thanks, I do already have one as a spare. Itās brand new though, from when I bought the last set of the same tires. I never bothered to rotate all 5 but I do need to be better at that.
I really, really do not want to go from 35ās to 40ās, but then you people keep posting pics like this and my brain immediately jumps to āholy shit, that looks amazingā. Seriously, that looks amazing but please stop with these pics. šš
