Engine power is not the differentiator for Gladiator, its main purpose is a class leader off road. It does that with aplomb, in looks, suspension (trim does come into effect on this of course), optionization, aftemarket options too, unmatched-class-leading 4WD-engineering, and yes the engine...
IMO, get the Running Boards (looks better and your Girl Friend will appreciate them to step up) and bed liner (protects) and cover (protects, hides) (now)...Drive it for a year to see if you need anything else.
Yep, not just auto's either, one time my XDs pistol had a recall. They turned what was originally a great trigger, into a relatively crappy one...But I'll be taking the jeep in, it sounds relatively benign based on posts.
Just got mine yesterday...Not milage realted, I am still under 1,000 mi...If anyone has already had the upgrade, just wondering if we need to reset/reconfigure anything once we get the jeep back?
Yea, I got mine yesterday, "Z37" to be precise...No biggie, have to bring her in for her first oil change soon anyway...
Only thing I want to check with folks who have got the new software is how the update went and if there was anything else in the jeep that may have "changed" (i.e...
I thought about it a while, but I can't come up with a name any better than what she was born with: Mojave..."MO" for short. Yes not very original, but why mess with perfection :). That says it all in regards to what she is all about and says it all as to why I adapted her...And when I say "My...
As long as this thread came up again, Ya know, I was thinking about this the other day, there is one Nanny-State Warning I would like, when I forget to relase the parking break as I start to move - lol...Yep, the symbol on the pannel is good, but this is at least one time that I would (actually)...
It (CLighter) is not a bad thing to have in an emergancy to start a fire if you have nothing else...I have a 12v outel and wish I got the lighter (but I was revolted by the "Smokers Group" option name - lol). As others say, get a plug...Keep the lighter somewhere in the jeep, you never know -...
Same issue for me (it has to be locked)...I couldn't find a reasonable way to store them in the cab of my Mojave. Maybe a small pistol or two, but fitting a long gun even an m4 in that rear under-seat lockable storage is a myth - especially with a red dot on it...Some people say they lock a long...
The one time I wanted to use it in my first 5 months was to blow out some sand in the bed. Found the outlet wasn't rated high enough for a leave blower...Maybe someday I will find another use for it.
Very interesting original post...Good to have choices...Mine is Mojave, in the 5 months or so I've had it I've been off-road with it quite a number of times and and does extremely well riding with lifted and customized Wranglers in our local Jeep Club (I'm the only gladiator). And really, that...
Interestingly, my lift point was on the frame close to the front driver's side tire (before of course the frame stars its curve in that area). That tire went quite high, but non of the others tires got off the ground at all. I had the 3 others with hard rubber chocks under them (recommended by a...
OK, my Bad, I misdiagnosed the situation...The Saddle does indeed stay flat, what doesn't stay flat is the frame of the truck as the truck tilts to the opposite side as it is lifted higher and higher. As the frame tilts towered the opposite side there is less and less surface area between it and...
Hi Folks, I got a chance to try the jack...It is really nice and will help with the undercharge cleaning.
It is specked to lift up to 24.5", I probably got it to 22"s today or so...I got a little concerned about the angle between the saddle and the frame at that height.
When the saddle first...
