Would models before 2021 fall under this too?
No - this really does look like the same one that was posted about 2 or 3 weeks ago - the throttle motor and the thing being put into a limp mode (speed reduced to a max of 25 mph)

There's been discussion of this one before - look back 2 or 3 weeks. I have the dates in the house, not here in my shop, but looking over this one it looks like the same one that caused a member to have a panic attack (well, not that bad - but it was spooky) when the attempted flash left the truck unable to start (and no PCM was available to replace it - yikes!)

The solution was to pull a fuse, I think it was radio fuse???? and do the flash and it would succeed.
This one looks just like that one from weeks ago. And if the dealership has the latest TSB info (and bothers reading it!), the flash will go smoothly.

People know going in about the tazer - it's part of the ownership experience........ This is how things go. Don't blame Jeep ;-) It was a choice. ?

Fuse #F97 under the hood reboots the UConnect radio. I have to pull it occasionally when the AT&T wifi wigs out.

Yeah, and I believe it was you who would have otherwise been truckless, and got a chance to see that the fuse-pull thing actually works (thank goodness, eh?)

I knew there was a 7 in it and it was a high number....... that's the baby.
That's one of the fuses that should have a handle attached to it.

Yea, I got mine yesterday, "Z37" to be precise...No biggie, have to bring her in for her first oil change soon anyway...

Only thing I want to check with folks who have got the new software is how the update went and if there was anything else in the jeep that may have "changed" (i.e., "colateral" damage) after the upgrade which I may need to reset/re-configure?

Went fine for me. No issues after update.

I don't see that it would be necessary. Safer for their process, maybe............ hard to say.
But if it's just the stop/start killer, it shouldn't bother.
