  1. Protecting the Precious

Funny thing (for me) is that after a year of everyday ownership, the feeling you described slowly subsided. Then suddenly, compliments and the occasional 'duck' happens! It's amazing the amount of attention JT's garner when it is least expected!
  2. 2023 Chevrolet Colorado First Drive: One of the Best Midsizers Asserts Itself

New video: First drive impressions 2023 Chevy Colorado
  3. 2022 Mojave Hitch Receiver Install

I did the exact same thing with the genuine Mopar class IV receiver. No spare removal required. It was not available due to parts shortage when I placed my order. Saved a few bucks too. Worked out well and a piece of cake! ;)
  4. So long, farewell (traded in JT Overland)

I came from a 2020 Ram Laramie 1500. An awesome truck and one that I think about often. I wanted to get away from a full-size truck and into a mid., so I ordered my JT. That smooth Mojave ride with plenty of attitude that commands attention. Combined with the Selec-Trac, it is the best driving...
  5. 3.6L Pentastar V6 Engine Issue

On my fifth 3.6 Pentastar in 11 years. I also have nothing but positive things to say about this powerplant. Hundreds of thousands manufactured, and road tested. Like any engine, there will always be a percentage with issues. The internet is a place where we hear about them.
  6. Dealership sucks. TPMS questions

It all depends on your build date. If it was after June 2021 the TPMS part number changed. The new Mopar part number is 68339096AB.
  7. Rare colors

Too bad you can't order a Jeep with any color in the current Mopar line up. Sinamon Stick is one example.
  8. Ongoing Sale - No stock

For me, Discount Tire Direct was a pleasure to do business with. I love my KO2's!
  9. Good deal reached on 22 however..

I did the same on a deal when I purchased a new Ram 8 years ago from the largest CDJR store in Phoenix, Arizona. The only way to get the "best" finance rate was to purchase a service agreement for $3k. They said there was no penalty to cancel, but to wait 90 days before doing so. Went back to...
  10. HELP ME DECIDE! Gladiator Mojave VS 2023 Ranger Raptor

Yup. I have a couple of years to study the reliability records on the '23-up GM mid-size lineup. Then it is a possibility that a Canyon AT4X could be in my future.
  11. Gladiator rear creak when cold.

I have a suspension creak in the left rear on mine on real cold days. It's been doing this since I hit around 5k miles. I park in a heated shop overnight. Noise is gone in the morning. Can't wait for spring!
  12. Sound System Suggestions

I am on the same path. I have the 8.4 Alpine system but would like to find a direct factory subwoofer replacement that is plug and play that will fit in the stock location and can be sufficiently driven by the factory amp. It would be nice to have a bit more low-end punch. I have looked...
  13. Positive Lease Equity - strategies?

Yes, I had to pay the taxes on my buyout of course. But when trading, I only had to pay taxes on the difference between my trade and the new JT (about 15K). Still, way better than I ever imagined and made my current payment affordable enough to put a few extra bucks toward it each month. Now a...
  14. 2023 Chevrolet Colorado First Drive: One of the Best Midsizers Asserts Itself

I hope you are correct. GM has had some real-world QC issues in recent years. I have two family members that had GMC Canyons a few years ago. One seized the engine (V6) due to poor oiling and the other had two transmissions withing a year. Needless to say, these trucks are no longer in the...
  15. Positive Lease Equity - strategies?

I had a 36-month lease on my 2020 Ram 1500 with a 30K residual at the lease end. My dealer wanted it (18,000 miles) and offered me 40K for it six months before the end of my lease. I contacted my lease company and they stated there was no penalty for ending my contract six months early if I were...
