As the title says.
I have a pile of leaves stuck between the cab and the bed and they're getting deeper each year. Now they're like about half way up the bed height.
Anyone have any clues as to how to et them outta there? I've tried a leaf blower, and even a pressure washer to try and knock...
Someone mentioned that the 3.6L for the RAM 1500 gets a different tuning to like 305 HP and a bit more torque.
I wonder if one can simply take their JT to a stealership and get the engine management computers reprogrammed with that tuning?
And moreover, is the RAM 3.6L made any differently...
You will find that manual shifting will be your best friend. Your boat is only a couple hundred pounds less than my travel trailer. It's 27' and around 5,100 lbs with all we want or need.
I shift manually and never see 8th unless going downhill with a tail wind π . I can cruise at 65 MPH in...
I simply replaced my backup light bulbs with some very bright LED lights. Now the issue ain't so bad...not that I noticed an issue before, just wanted more light backing up than before, but noticed the improvement in seeing what was going on back there.
I tow a 27', 5,100 lb (with all we want or need) travel trailer with my Overland (ordered 5/19, delivered 7/19) and find it adequate for towing power. Yeah, it does remind me that it's a V6 when I hit a grade but, I just drop a gear or two (7th to 5th, 3K RPMS or 6th around 2,500 RPMs) to get...
1966 Oldsmobile Toronado. 425 cu.in. 325 HP, front wheel drive, gorgeous car. The speedometer is the coolest...it's a drum that rolls showing speed. Note, I had a 1972 with the 455 in it. Dash was way different but, damnit that car was fast!!!
Don't you whine and complain going up hills? Well, your Jeep is no different π€π€π€πππππ
Sounds like a trans issue that may only get worse over time. Better get it checked out because you'll probably be hearing it when not towing soon...
I don't have that issue with my Overland (ordered 5/19...
I wouldn't mind a bit more oomph towing. My Overland (ordered 5/19, delivered 7/19) does a decent job of towing my 27', 5,100 lb (with all we want or need) travel trailer but, there are times it reminds me it's only a V6. Easily dealt with, just drop a gear or two and motor on but, still...
Ya gotta make sure it's latched. I had a similar issue on my Overland (ordered 5/19, delivered 7/19) after I had the tailgate replaced due to some stupidity of mine (crunched it with the tongue jack of a utility trailer when backing up and the trailer got a bit away from me). I noticed that if I...
So, I just ordered 4 Goodyear Endurance All Season Trailer Tire ST205/75R14 LRD 2040 Lb. 65PSI tires for my trailer. They are AMERICAN made. I checked a few other tires on Amazon and called the suppliers and they admitted that all their trailer tires were made in China. So, to them I said, "NO...
Had to do mine a couple of years ago. Got (probably) the same repair kit on Amazon and 15 minutes after receiving said kit, voila, problem solved. Still have the other piece for if (and hopefully NOT when) the passenger sides goes too.
There's a setting you can set for the gear your in to be displayed in, under the speed. I set mine many years ago and forget how to do it. It will show 'D' 1, 2, 3, etc. It will also show 'M' 1, 2, 3, etc. if you flip the shift lever to manual mode. It's gotta be in the manual somewhere or you...
As far as sun damage, the left side of the trailer (facing forward) gets zero sun during the day and the right side gets maybe 3 hours in the summer and 2 hours in the winter so, maybe not so much sun damage but, it was the rear axle tire on the right side that had the sidewall blow out so...
That's interesting that someone mentioned balancing. The tire shop that did mine didn't balance it and actually, the thought that they should be somehow didn't even cross my mind. I guess I was still reeling from the experience from the day before and, was just happy to get a decent replacement...
Gonna have to get your roof replaced. Hopefully you're still under warranty.
I had this happen to mine the end of '20. I also heard sloshing from inside the roof. I had them first replace the rear window but they also told me that they tried getting the water out but it wouldn't come out. I...
Not yet. I had the one that blew out replaced with what the guy at the tire shop said was a good one (this is the tire shop that all the trailer dealerships in this area, Middleboro, MA, sends all their work to so...). When I get home and take my trailer in for it's annual inspection and get the...
