  1. Venturous Topper Installed

The door windows and roof rails were add ons. I didn't get the interior light. The window tint could be darker, but other than that, I'm pretty satisfied with it.
  2. Venturous Topper Installed

And it is installed. Went to remove (de-badge) the "Venturous" badge on the rear tonight and ended up removing the paint as well. I've done a lot of de-badging but never had that happen before. Probably have to repaint the thing now. It is a nice topper. Not too sure how good the paint is...
  3. Venturous Topper Installed

Ordered mine on 3-14, they called me Tuesday and said it was in. So about 5 weeks.
  4. Leveling my JT?

I'm thinking that is all I need as well. Mainly for looks. But, I'm changing out the BFG KM2s to a Cooper 285/75. No harder than mine will get used I'm not really worried about tire rub, but with the 1.5" leveling kit it should remove that chance completely, and look better. At least that is...

Well I decided on the Rock Jock. Finally got it installed. The only problem was the factory bumper. It came off hard. The lower tabs on the Rock Jock prevent you from rocking the bumper to get the holes to line up, so I had to ream the holes out just a little on the end of the frame to slip it...
  6. She Said It's Hard to Get In

Drop down too low for a Jeep that isn't lifted in my opinion. But I'm new at this, what do I know?
  7. She Said It's Hard to Get In

Those would be fine if my Jeep was lifted, but it is not and won't be.
  8. She Said It's Hard to Get In

I'll check back with you when you're an old man, your priorities will change I promise you!;)
  9. She Said It's Hard to Get In

Guess you didn't read the part about the bad back!🙃
  10. She Said It's Hard to Get In

The steps I posted the link to? Yeah they are pretty pricey. I'm hunting oem running boards on Marketplace. Found some but so far too far away from me.
  11. She Said It's Hard to Get In

I like the steps in the link I posted, but a full oem running board might be the best answer.
  12. She Said It's Hard to Get In

So no in between with you? Either off-road or mall crawl? I'm 70 years old (almost) with a bad back! If I was going to off road, it wouldn't be in a new shiny Jeep. But I'm past those days now. I will run the back roads with it, get it wet, muddy, dusty, maybe a little mild off-road if it...
  13. She Said It's Hard to Get In

I'll be back roading, but won't be doing any wheeling so I'll check those out.
  14. She Said It's Hard to Get In

And then I wonder, with the dirt the front wheel is throwing up on the rear fender, if a full running board might not be the answer???
  15. She Said It's Hard to Get In

😲........Well that's what she said! So new to Jeep and really like the Rock Sliders that came on my Willys. (see pic) I don't need a step to get in and don't plan to lift it. Just looking at what is available, and wondered, why would you buy a running board (see other pic) that hangs down and...

    Where they made?

Very well done. 👍 Thanks for the pictures.
  18. Roadmaster Brake-lite Relay Kit Installation - I’m stuck

My Jeep hasn't been started in over a week. I went out and opened the door and applied the brake and got a brake light. I cycled the key to on and rolled down the window. Went back 15-20 minutes later and reached thru the window and hit the brake and no brake light came on as you said. I turned...
  19. Roadmaster Brake-lite Relay Kit Installation - I’m stuck

I will check this out today. I'm guessing even opening the door will wake it back up. I will test that out. So from what I've read, I'm understanding the only ill affect is the turn signal won't work if the brake is applied while the vehicle is awake? And, if this happens it won't cause any harm...

I can't see where your electrical plug-in is or your break-away switch. Are they back under the bumper?
