Anybody using the Maximus 3 for flat towing? I would like to see some pictures. It seems to me the "tie rod" will make it difficult to mount up the electrical connection and the break away switch.

My receiver is at 18". Looks like using the Demco or Roadmaster base plate would put the height closer to where I need to be.

I like that too. They have a dealer not far from me. I can't think why I'd need the roof rack so I don't plan on getting that. It doesn't look good enough to me to get it just in case.

Guess I'll have to check it out. Wonder how many of the velcro pieces stuck to the bed will come off when I pull the rug loose? Since the Bedrug is non penetrable, there may not be enough dust get in to worry about.

I just bought one with a BedRug already in it, didn't know there are holes in the bed!
