Without research of what all the aux powers I just figured with ESS in bypass if I powered the cables all would be taken care of...and it has been with no after effects that others have had with isolating the entire aux system and pulling breakers/fuses. Just saying that it was a simple...
I simply ran the aux batt cables to the main and removed the aux batt completely. i didn't even pull any CB's or anything. My aux batt cables just reached up there. Simple delete with no problems.
I note that mine is manual and ESS was very unlikely to function anyway due to all the...
Yeah, I doubt any of us can Superman our vehicles off a rock or stop a roll! Especially if it is moving.
"They" say the same thing about putting a foot down on a moving cycle...just don't.
I have a question: since I have the same Sport S outfit as you do. Does the 4:88 gear set go right into the Sport S pumpkin/housing or does one simply have to buy a whole rear end and housing?
Thanks, I am on the learning curve...
Man, do I agree with you, the ratios in this 6 are pretty bad. I never get to sixth...
My 1965 Barracuda with three on the tree was so much better.
My 1990 Dakota 5 speed is so much better
My 2004 Cad CTS V 6 speed Tremec is so much better.
Gotta wonder who chose this POS transmission? I...
Yep, I had a 1969 Spitwad in Navy flight school. I loved that car. Then my first son came along and I knew it was 20 years before I'd have a two seater again. I miss that car, parting was sorrow. And yes, the Prince of Darkness got me one night and I had to sneak home blacked out on the back...
Actually, I do not. My clutch is fine so far so all I am going by is what our pals here at the forum say, that Centerforce is the way to go. I have no research done yet.
How about being able to select "accessory" without three pushes, having to start the stupid thing before getting to "accessory"?. I too would prefer to make a half key turn to the accessory position. I would like the positive control of the start and the snap back to the ignition/run detent...
I agree that the clutch is "less vague" on engagement as NortonJTSS says. I always want to feel that there is a full engagement point, like the TREMEC 6 in my GM vehicle. Usually on a manual you can feel that point at about 1 1/2 inches below the pedal top stop and the clutch begins to...
Of course one is upside down on a car loan! It is what was always referred to as "Taillight Depreciation'. As soon as the brake lights flash off the dealer lot the vehicle is now 'used" and worth much less on the market as it's now a one owner car to a second buyer.
No matter what yo are buying-there is no 5 star item. Somebody always reviews with a 1 star. Your own research before the purchase is the most important.
Hmmmm, collector's item? Cool!
We have the stick in our Gladiator. I wanted to "buy American" and the stick was the primary reason the Jeep got the nod. I also did not want to horse a full sized truck around.
The MOPAR car show visitors sure like my 1990 Dakota Sport factory convertable...
