The Mopar hard tri-fold cover appears to be painted aluminum as far as I can tell. I got a few small scratches in mine, and it is shiny silver metal underneath. I was disappointed because I was hoping it was some type of plastic. Oh well.
I just use regular car wash soap on mine, but I use...
I doubt it. The way you quoted the invoice, it doesn't state that they are genuine Mopar parts, or even Dana Spicer parts for that matter. If the invoice has part numbers you can look them up to see what they are.
Even if they are Mopar parts, this doesn't mean that your factory powertrain...
Interesting. Was the Mopar CAI on your '21 a factory-installed option or dealer installed? I thought that if it was installed as a factory option it came with the standard paper filter (and no hood cutout).
Just a thought ... the same could be said for pretty much every modification any of us makes. And, for the record, I wasn't worried about it at all. I just didn't like the way it looked, so I changed it. And I had fun doing it.
I hated how those flag nuts looked. I removed mine & trimmed them. Or you could replace them with the 'regular' type flange nuts used on some of the other control arm connections.
I have Steer Smarts tie rod and drag link on my JK. The construction of the JT components is similar. I'll say that I really like the "no flop" feature of the tie rod ends, and the use of clamps instead of jam nuts. They appear to be very well made.
BUT ... appearances can be deceptive. I...
A little trick I use is to put the screw into the hole, then using a hand-held nut driver, slowly turn the screw counter-clockwise until you feel a slight 'click', then carefully tighten. This helps line up the threads in the plastic hole with the screw threads. I started doing this on my old...
Thanks, you are correct! On the JK, the sensor is a real PITA to change. Luckily, not so on the JT/JL.
Found this over on the JL forum:

Body mounted sliders tend to tuck up higher and have brackets that don't get caught on rocks as easily.
I have body mounted "enhanced rock rails" on my 2-door JKR (which mount similar to the JL/JT versions). They are ok for lighter hits or if you gradually load them. I've smashed mine a...
If you want to keep the tires tucked in, you could always go narrower than stock. The Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT is very aggressive for an AT, and it comes in a 255/85R17 (35 x 10 x 17).
Check them out here...
Irrelevant. Phil, the OP, is 67. He recently re-evaluated himself and he's doing just fine!
(^^^ read the above with a very sarcastic tone, and refer to post #25 if needed)
By the way, I really like the 2TH MVR. Very subtle. I usually despise vanity plates, but that would make a nice one.
Huh? I'm not sure what you are trying to say here. You carry because you think it gives you the right to put a sticker on someone else's vehicle? Or you carry because you think it gives you some way to retaliate against someone who puts a sticker on your vehicle? Or something else?
I think there are a lot of people out there who like the idea of owning a Gladiator. However, you need to know exactly what you are getting yourself into. My 2021 Mojave steers beautifully and rides like a dream (for a Jeep). Things like wind noise, road noise, and overall handling are just...
I could not disagree more. Standard 'car guy' code is you never, I repeat NEVER, touch or f*** with someone else's car. How would you feel if someone slapped a sticker on your JT just because they didn't like something completely meaningless about you, your JT, or something you did with your JT?
