On the passenger side where the bumper meets the frame rail, you should see a grey connector. That connector is for the fog lights. That is the only electrical connector you need to disconnect.
So from my understanding that they don't "offer" it due to the fact manual JT's only have a 3,500 towing capacity, same as the Wrangler. Would you even need one? Asking because I truly don't know the correct answer.
Didnt know that. Still pretty cool. I wonder how much wiring difference there is to get it to work on mine. I know there are threads about doing this, but that was with export model mirrors. Wiring the same?
Took my dad to the local Jeep dealership to look at some Grand Cherokees and inside the show room was this "High Altitude" edition sitting all nice and shiny. What caught my eye was the "export" style mirror indicators that were installed. I haven't heard of them being installed on North...
And some may just do it for you. Not all dealerships are pain in the ass's, but the Tazer is what I used because its so user friendly. The downside though is any time you go there its a good habit to just un marry and reconfigure for 20 minutes when you get it back. I took a picture of my...

Man that sounds like Jeep did it on purpose just for you ? . So my biggest pain was the pigtail. That dang plug closest to the outlet along with the Christmas tree that's right there... kicked my ass. Just make sure you have something to tell the jeep you have it.. Either Tazer, Dealership...
Did you figure it out? I dont remember digging around for wires or plugs, the wire for the bed plug switch was right there when I tore everything apart. Clicked it in and good to go once I used the tazer to "acknowledge" the outlet.
Sadly its an additional purchase. I think I got my warn (no plate) bracket from Amazon for 40-50 dollars. Not the cheapest, but they are around. I've been trying to give away the license plate version and no one wants it lol.
Yeah when I was living in Germany my buddy bought one (export version) his came with the cool red seat belts, power dome hood, upgraded rock rails and such and looked identical to yours. I think he paid 60+ thousand euro for it. Id love to do what you did, have a toy on the side, but its hard...
