Really wish neither was an option…. It’s to long to be a Jeep, and the weight rating is laughable to be called a truck…..
We purchased ours with the intent to frame chop and shorten the bed and use it as a Jeep- but with oversized storage for camping.
Currently in a holding pattern to see if...
Leave it to Mopar to complicate the basics…. ??? I knew the 90032 from your thread on the plug install- thanks.
thanks for the manual reference!! Feel like an idiot now for skipping the basics of read the dang manual! Defaulted to google!
Thanks!
Ok- a lot of folks here trust their dealers…. I don’t. ??‍♂️
Made it to the parts department a couple min before closing and like an idiot I red the stand out 10 year 150k and didn’t pay attention to the part numbers….
Which is the “correct” spec for the 3.0 ecodiesel.
Second- anyone savvy...
Where is settings???

As you flex- the axle will walk driver or passenger side… Maybe just flap disk down that small area on the skid?
JK’s it’s the rear drive shaft on the fuel tank skid…. Once you start being able to lift the rear tires 38” up on the passenger corner it will rub…. ??‍♂️
You are going to love the PSC steering kit. Truly a game changer ?
re-reading my post I came off too Dick ish….Reviewing your actual list makes a lot more sense and I would agree you put money in the right places…. The post I quoted basically left it at basics plus aesthetics which seemed ...
I’m curious- so when you are comparing raw power is it from a stop or rolling? The reason why i ask- and please don’t quote me- I might be off on % by 10 or so- however, I hear that factory tuned the motor derates 1st gear by 40% and second by 30% limiting torque…. A tune removes the gearing...
Ok- so we just do math different… really it’s 23k in mods not 40k.
so looks like it’s time to start throwing money atmore mechanical pieces vs aesthetics.
Check out PSC’s full hydro assist kit. Try not to throw up it’s like $3200+ just parts.
then$2500 for some skids.
??? just want to seal...
? eesh. I mean you are 40k in on parts but haven’t upgraded to PSC hydro assist, 1.5 ton ends, aluminum drag links and tie rods. Still rocking factory axle housings…. Would really like to see the build sheet to know where the 40k went?? I suppose just different priorities? ?
As far as the...
Motive Gear….. ??? their gears are on point! Their warranty is phenomenal! (Photo- installer issue…. Still hooked it up with a complete rebuild kit! ) have ram 3 Jeeps with their gears and zero issues. Run the proper break-in procedures and they will last!!! (Speed and fluid change requirements…)
I don’t think greed has anything to do with it… supply and demand…. Look at the quantity of vehicles running a ~315/70r17 ball park around a 35” tire on a 17” wheel…. A ton more than the folks running 37-42” tires…. What’s that crappy saying that everyone thinks is “ugly”-
Gotta pay to play...
Cast knuckles/ Reid racing are going to run $600, good ball joints are $275-600, shafts are a grand, hydro assist is $2700….
Tires seem like the cheap part of this long term equation…. Unless it’s not wheeled.
Bob is the oil guy is a great website to look up/check out fluid analysis- redline is good stuff, haven’t seen a bad report on any of their fluid- usually just below amsoil and saves a few bucks.
Ask the what can Mopar do for you. ???
Only other note- look into the plunger trick…. I’m assuming the JT/JL are similar in design to the JKU….. but I was pissed I didn’t know about this the first time I swapped gears on the jku….. ripped it all back out for a toothpick and string ?
