No better way to tell than to open the pumpkin and take some photos of wear pattern….(post them back here!)
Pick up a dial indicator and check the backlash….. this is easy stuff don’t be intimidated…
Checking the pattern and the backlash will let you know if your gears are wearing right.
The...
Not sure what you mean- basically what you already have. These are true frame mounted sliders. Unless I miss understood your first post- you have two sets of factory sliders? These are ok, but what sucks about them- you will eventually smash small rocks into the body paneling from getting...
Just curious- DEF or Platinum DEF usually used?
I use platinum because it says it doesn’t crystallize…. Pretty sure I’m just over paying for DEF…. ??‍♂️
What did you, or do you use?
Sorry I should have thrown in- looked into patriot and turtle back trailers….
you both nailed it-the construction trailers I have seen walk have had pretty extensive tongue locks and hardened chains through the tandem axles…. If they want it, they want it.
we usually leave a cheap- $30-40...
It’s interesting to see y’all leave your trailers. We have thought about this but the idea of a $30k+ trailer being taken is ?- we understand that’s what insurance is for…. But having seen too many enclosed trailers disappear from job sites- these off road trailers would be too easy.
Not arguing… not saying your wrong. Just adding to the brainstorm…. I was leaning to bad alternator too- would want to know what the voltage has been sitting at while driving. - you know is the voltage regulator shot?
Whats your theory on two batteries going out within a short period then...
Take it easy big guy… it was a ligit question. When I posted for some reason I thought they were $2k+ a pair… my memory serves fox 3.0’s @ $4700.00…
ill try to do better in the future….

Don’t understand why I don’t see these guys on more Jeeps. Made good stuff on the JK platform- works great on the Jt too.
northridge4x4 had them drop shipped quick and had the best...
Dirt lifestyle on YouTube went with 5.13’s and has gone on a decently long road trip- extensive off road…. He went 5.13’s and small side BFG 39” tires…. He has complained none…
personally- 5.13’s give you the more when you need it (mechanical advantage). The couple hundred rpm difference...
So, either use it as justification “fix it or I’m returning” and see if they call your bluff. Or call safelight!
Not to be a prick. But it’s a Jeep… off road or mall crawl the flat and very vertical angle of the window- this is far from the first windshield you will need to replace. My...
I don’t know if the JK/JL-JT manual trans is the same….. but the JK 6spd I changed between 20-30k miles to amsoil synchromesh….. best thing I ever did…. 2nd and 3rd used to be sloppy until I changed up.
I’d let them worry about testing the fluid. If you have records you have records… if they are already being crappy, ask for the regional representative and get ahold of Jeep cares to document the crap service that’s already started.
I would provide as few of details as possible. My friend...
I’m assuming you mean back of the truck- bumper style tire carrier?
many concerns with the weight being so far back and potentially bending the frame?
