The kayak racks drop inside the slots on the top bars.
You could easily mount cross bars on the top there are multiple mount spots
I pull our travel trailer all over the place.
Been to Myrtle Beach, Western Pennsylvania,Jersey shore, mountains etc.
It weighs about 5000 pounds. I have a weight transfer hitch set up. Pulls nice and easy.
Towed over 12000 miles so far.

I average 18 mpg with normal mixed area driving.
When I pull the travel trailer at 65 mph I get about 9 mpg.
When I do a full tank at 55 mph I get 11-12 mpg.(pulling the trailer)
