For anyone thinking that EV's will solve what tailpipe emissions has created, think again.
Pollution from tires, brakes more than 1,000 times worse than tailpipe exhaust (autoblog.com)
I have had many high performing cars new and old, and I am very happy with the juice my 5.7 R/T automatic has. The "baby hemi" is how it is considered these days compared to the higher models.
All I have to say is when provoked, the active exhaust opens up and lets you know that this 375...
I researched every headliner on the market before deciding to stick with the Mopar version. Prices were all pretty close. The coverage is more extensive compared to Hotheads or Boom Mat with a total of eight pieces (including a one-piece rear roof panel) and a design that is form fitted to the...
Thanks for the insight. I will be coming up with a plan for a hoist system very soon. Unfortunately, that may have not helped me today as my project required the top to be turned over and laid upside down on the floor for full access to install the sound deadening and Mopar headliner panels.
A...
Great for the trails and brush! For me, I'll stick with my factory LED's for now.
The Oracle flush mount lights have been a complete debacle from the start. Hard to compare them to anything on the market today.
So, today I decided that it was the perfect day to remove my JTM Freedom Top and install the Mopar Hardtop Headliner I had stashed since the cold months of winter. Looked at this video to see what I was in for the R&R as I was doing this by myself:
Removing the hardtop on a Jeep Gladiator and...
Today's projects included a hood vent decal and tailgate treatment. Wanted to go a bit more subtle rather than complete tailgate and taillight area blackout. Same idea with the hood.
I get it completely. My wife grumbles every time getting in and out of my Mojave with stock lift and 33's. As a taller person, boards don't work for me and get in the way.
Looking at the pic of your JTM I can see that it has the optional Mopar side steps. The Weathertech splash guards will only fit with the standard rock rails (non-step) and not yours. I did much research on this before I ordered my Mojave. That is why I stayed with the standard rock rails. I am...
Just think if plant assembly was like it was forty years ago. Wow, have times changed!

I'm happy for you Bill. I wouldn't be too worried about the miles. You'll be fine. As they say, the waiting is the hardest part. Continue stripping down your old one though.
I will make an uneducated guess that you will have your new Overland by mid June.
I don't think so. I ordered my JTM from a low volume small-ish (pop. 10,000) town dealer. In fact they rarely have Gladiators on the lot because of low demand in this area. I got my VIN and build sheet within three days of my order. By day five it was built and ready for ship.
Well, here I am six weeks from this thread start. I conducted some "parking lot experimentation". The RF signal blocking mine and many of my co-worker's vehicle remote is spotty around the large parking lot at our store.
I first tried my usual parking space with an empty lot to rule out other...
