I ordered the Gorilla glass option (and bitterly paid the $495). Reading lots of posts regarding the real world issues with the durability. This is the one item that I would have not ordered if I could do it again. :headbang:
You may not agree with the price point after the LED lamps group requirement but believe me if you do ANY night driving, you will quickly appreciate them. MUCH brighter and safer than halogens (that are like driving with two flashlights.) ??
Vent away. Sounds like a great price and nicely equipped JT. If you decide to wait till another day, so be it. However, life is indeed short. Don't regret tomorrow what you wanted to do today. :like:
Could have been far worse. Could have been a deer. Years ago in the business, we had a Mazda 626 come into the body shop with a deer hit to the windshield. But it wasn't the usual broken glass. It came through the glass into the vehicle, breaking the passenger seat back, buckling the roof sheet...
That is exactly what I was thinking of doing. Wait until the store is closed sometime and conduct the experiment. I am also going to park in the opposite end of the lot and try it as well.
I have been running into this issue in the parking lot where I work. This is a larger parking lot at a big box home improvement store. The lot typically has 60-70+ vehicles parked at any time.
About a month and a half ago I started having an issue using my fob to remote start my vehicle from...
Not planning on using my three free oil changes. I have always done the maintenance on my vehicles in my shop (thanks to the person with little experience hired by the dealership). I don't mean to stereotype, but I have seen it all from hoist/arm crushed fuel tanks to splash guards, ...and that...
If you want AT's without as aggressive tread as the BFG All Terrain T/A KO2's, in recent months they have released the Trail Terrain T/A in the 275/55R20. Nice looking outlined white letter on one side, and a less aggressive (but highly rated) all terrain tread.
Shop Trail Terrain T/A - Powerful...
Another Quadratec fan here. Took off stock black Mojave wheels the first day and sold them. These are +12 offset. Very slight tire "poke" compared with the factory +37 offset. Stuck with the 33" diameter. Also got matching Jeep center caps from Quadratec to give it that closer to stock look...
2022 Mojave. First five mods done on day two:
1. BFG KO'2s (33")
2. Quadratec '41' Wheels
3. Access Roll Up Tonneau Cover
4. Weathertech Splash Guards
5. Rampage Hood Locks
...and many more since!
I just sold my new stock take-off wheels and tires (33") from my Mojave to a buyer that has a new 2022 Sport. He did not mention any kind of a lift, but some are adding a Teraflex 1.5" leveling kit for the front end. Nothing else needs to change to add 33's unless you go with a very negative...
