I have a hydro blue Mojave and ordered the same tailgate wrap. I am now debating on the colour to get for the lettering. Either the grey/orange or thinking black on black gloss with matte trim. Thoughts?
Guess it all depends on how noticeable you would like the new Gladiator letters to be once installed on the black topo pattern wrap.

I really like on my Mojave how the orange edges of the original charcoal gray Jeep letters play with the orange outline of the tailgate wrap. The charcoal gray letters stand out a bit, but are still a nice subtle contrast on the black topo background.

I would think that the black w/matte edge Gladiator letters will almost disappear once installed on the topo pattern.

So guess I would say, if you want it to be stealthy go black w/matte, if you would like a little contrast, gray w/orange. Just a thought for whatever it's worth.

Its for when you want it to look like a Raptor…
Sorry, I just don't "get" trying to make your Gladiator look like a Raptor.
If someone has Raptor envy, why the hell didn't they buy one in the first place?

Both would look nice....but the benefit of black gloss on black matte is it's "different"....or course grey orange looks more OEM. Tough decision.

Going back and forth I think keep the Mojave colors to match your Mojave decals on the hood.

I hit up @pixeldecals for the topo vinyl. And I did have them leave it UNCUT. In my opinion it’s easier to used knifeless tape than it is to try and slide the graphics perfectly into place. I think used some red pinstripe over the edges. If you go the precut route just use some rapid tac and hood vinyls applicator squeegees and you should be fine.

I agree. I actually liked using @pixeldecals corner light pieces due to the shape which is too hard to replicate with cutting tape. But as far as the middle part I think having the material and using knifeless tape to lay down first IMHO would actually give better lines due to possible stretching of the vinyl of the precut.

Anyone who wants it that way, I am more than willing. Knifeless tape does have a bit of a learning curve, IMO, so pre-cut is definitely the solution for most people.

Looks right to me the skinny side of the L goes down. Just turn it 90 degrees.

Are you sure about that? Look how other folks have installed theirs. Looks like you need to rotate 90° clockwise in your second pic.
