Completely agree and u derstand where yr coming from but people are removing these things with like 35 miles on them and get them for next to nothing…
Lotta thirst in this thread lol. I think its pretty evident that Jeep needs a better engine choice in the Glad. And not just a EV / hybrid. A pure high powered gasser.
Agreed, it adds a lot of extra complexity for sure…. Hard to say really considering ive been to a lot of places where its easy to run out of gas let alone run out of charge lol. Jerry can go berrrrrrr lol.
Riding in these things a ton off-road in both South America and Africa I can tell you that yes they are reliable and but they are nowhere near as capable as a stock gladiator Rubicon S or stock wrangler Rubicon is.
To me toyota is one of those brands that never sets the standard , always taking what other people do and perhaps try to improve on it. Like take a rubi gladiator slap a lift and 37” tires and a winch and you have an absolute beast with very little work. Take a tacoma and try to run 37’s you...
lmao wtf where you guys last year ;). I think they are still in the garage allow
Me a day to try and dig up. Stand by… I also have geometry drop brackets never installed with new grade 8 hardware if anyone is interested in. They are highly recommended if you lift.
exactly . I feel I was u fairly attacked but ill let it slide. My point is why inspect for a leak ( unless dealer negligence is suspected) , when you likely will need a new engine or heads, bearings etc etc…
Who cares about the leak at this point, you continued to drive when you should have immediately pulled over . You probably ceased the engine or at least did serious damage to rotating assembly bearing surfaces and cam.
If you are out alone frequently yes self recovery is paramount. If yr just a instagram fanboy larping then no its not needed. If you have a second vehicle on rail with you , you can get away with merely kinetic rope or straps.
