Just picked up a new diesel High Altitude last week. I absolutely love it, but the stock wimpy street tires have got to go. I’m at this point planning on sticking with the stock 275-55-20’s but want some AT’s. Anybody have experience and some pictures?

Thanks much!

Did you ever go with a tire? I am in the same boat right now, and I am looking for options.

I'm in the same boat, looking at General ATX or K2s.

If you want AT's without as aggressive tread as the BFG All Terrain T/A KO2's, in recent months they have released the Trail Terrain T/A in the 275/55R20. Nice looking outlined white letter on one side, and a less aggressive (but highly rated) all terrain tread.

I run the Continental Terrain Contact A/T in a different size on my SuperDuty, and I've been real happy with them. Quiet, smooth ride, good traction in all road & off-road conditions.

I ended up with some JLU Rubicon take off’s with factory KO2’s. I’m just using them as winter and off road tires. I’ll be putting the 20’s with Dueler H/T’s back on in the summer.

I couldn’t beat the deal and I like having an extra set of wheels and tires.

I have had dueler ATs on for a while, in both 245/75/17 and 255/75/17, and was very impressed with them. I nicked a shell casing at a recent training event and it took a pretty sweet gouge out one of my duelers.

after looking at the cost to replace two of my 4 tires i ended up just getting a whole new set if michelin defender ltx ms tires in 255/75/17 today. So far they’re the quietest tire ive ever owned.

Falken Wildpeak AT3W is available in your size. It would be my choice.

I went up a size to 275/60/20. I liked the size and can hardly tell any difference in ride quality.

I really liked those on my Canyon. They handled like an all season and had great wet traction, but had an aggressive sidewall like an A/T. My truck handled really great with those tires on it. Way better than with the stock Goodyear Silent Armors

Just make sure you put your stock wheels on it if you haul much. JL wheels are different and lower your payload.
