Someone post a pic of a speedo showing 55 MPH/1,600 RPM and 65 MPH/1,900 RPM so we can make OP happy.
It doesn't have to be a diesel since they have the same trans ratios as a gas model. OP won't know if its a diesel or not and it doesn't matter.
This part of your previous post is so wrong it could be mistaken for trolling:
People with more experience wheeling know that lockers also shine in mud, sand, and snow. The guys with lockers are the ones recovering the guys with open diffs.
I haven't used their JT lift, but I have installed and used some Zone products. I think their stuff is a good buy for the money.
With their 3" JT lift, I'd plan on also needing a front track bar, rear track bar or bracket, and adjustable upper or lower front arms.
Add an amp if you replace the speakers. It will really wake up the mids and highs if send some good power to them. You'll have no problem hearing it cruising down the highway with the doors off.
You'll probably get hit with a late fee if you let the registration expire.
I once purposely let the registration expire on a Jeep I was doing a motor swap on cause I wasn't driving it. I think it was a $10 late fee when I finally renewed it. In Michigan.
Is there a shop somewhat close that installs lifts and does alignments?
If not, adjust your uppers to Clayton’s recommended length like you planned to redo. Then go to an alignment shop and ask them to align it and give you the numbers. If caster is too low, you can shorten the uppers a little...
The Clayton suggestions are just that, suggestions. You can start there and adjust if needed. With no adjustable lowers, front uppers should be adjusted until caster is in desired range. If there are vibrations from the pinion angle, you have to back off the caster.
The correct and most perfect...
