Thinking about selling my Gladiator, question is, should I part it out or just sell it as is? I don’t have any of the old parts so I’d have to buy or trade for the replacement. The truck is a 2020 Rubicon it has 35k miles and a new engine that was put in less than 5k miles ago.

Here is the parts list:

Depending on price I might be interested in the compressor if you go the direction of parting out

Bigger market for a stock Jeep, but you'll have to weigh that against the time to remove and replace the parts.

Sorry, but I don't see why it's even a question. You don't have the original parts to put back on it. You can't get enough out of the used parts to buy replacements to take it back to stock. Then there's the time and effort required to take it back to stock, plus the cash outlay up-front to acquire all the parts, and then selling the used parts afterwards.

If you decide to sell, it will have to be as-is. You can try, but there will not be a good chance for a premium on the parts you installed.

I'd sell it complete. You've got a new motor (though that sounds like a story on its own) and extremely low mileage given the year.

Thing is, you're not going to get what you put into it in value over a similar mileage stock JTR but you could get more than if it was stock.

I once built a 1991 W250. It was a frame-off complete resto-mod that I heavily modified. Built engine/transmission, D80/D60, and on and on.
When I decided to sell it, people were offering $13-$15K, which wouldn't have covered the cost of the engine and transmission.
Instead of selling it as a truck, I sold the engine, transmission, axles, cab, doors, frame, and nearly everything else. At the end of the day, I had collected over $33,000, which was more than double the offer for the complete vehicle.
Part it out, then sell a stock Gladiator...

Thanks for the input just looking for opinions to help with the decision. I think most of the parts I can get for cheap to bring it back to semi stock, I’m in California so there are a lot of jeeps out here looking to sell. Just trying to determine if the cost plus the actual labor of having to remove and reinstall parts all over again is worth it. I’ve been offered 40k, kbb has it at around 36k for a stock JTR. Think I might have to suck it up and part out. Thanks everyone

Maybe a hybrid approach. There may be some parts that you could remove and sell separately that would not adversely impact the sale price of the vehicle.
Probably what I'd do.

Is it a valuable item and easy to sell? ARB diff covers, for example, those should go quick. Good brand and nothing to wear out. Infintiy speakers, I wouldn't bother with removing those since used electronics are a tough sell at a low price.

Is the part easy to remove and easy to find a cheap replacement? Go for it.

Not bolted on? Don't include it. (tube doors, door cart, mesh top, etc.)

As with any highly modified vehicle the cost of returning it to stock would negate any savings you might get, not to mention your time that would be necessary.

Sell it as is and don’t price it by adding the cost of the upgrades as that will never work out. The Jeep looks good as is so you should be alright.

Sell it as it sits and move on, unless you are unemployed, have all day every day to work on it, and need every penny you can squeeze out of it.
