Just make sure you put your stock wheels on it if you haul much. JL wheels are different and lower your payload.
I actually haven’t been able to confirm that as true. There was a thread on it at one point but I don’t think it came to a conclusion.

Ive looked all over for the weight ratings for Jeep rims and cant find anything other “bro, trust me” or hearsay on the forum.

%100 not being a jerk. Do you have anything on the weight capability of jeep rims?

i went ahead and threw JL rubi rims on the Jt and haven’t had an issue (yet)

Jeep engineers talked about it when I watched videos of the development. That’s all the proof I need. Is it a big difference? Probably not.

on the mopar site, the Mopar cast aluminum wheels are listed at 1950#.

in contrast, wheels from aftermarket companies like Icon, Black Rhino, etc., have load ratings 2500# and up.

The rubi rims have the same weight rating as the rims available for the JT. Which leads me to believe they are fine

That’s good to know. Not a huge issue for me though as I’m not pushing the tow limits on mine at all. Just light utility trailers and such.
