I’m digging them. It’s a good way to get the half door look for about half the price of factory half doors. I run them most of the spring, summer and into fall. I’m considering a mod to make the metal panels quick release so I can run open tube doors too - not sure how yet but I have some ideas.
Had it out at Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area yesterday with a large group - mostly automatics. They kept stopping on Rocky hills. Zero issues starting on an incline, on rocks. I’ve been on the exact same trails and location with a group previously with my stock clutch and I could smell it...
Great. Can’t beat the value. I can drive 85mph with a smooth, straight track and off road with good flex and comfort. Just got back from AnthraciteOutdoor Adventure Area off roading. As usual it performed well. I drove 5,600 miles this summer to Yellowstone and had zero issues.
I paid $600 for labor -6 hour job + $200 for the hydraulics (2 hour job) because I got an early clutch without the hydraulics and the the hydraulics later. The hydraulics, clutch and flywheel come in the kit now. The Dual Friction is great and I don’t even notice the difference from the original...
Interesting. I am not really seeing this on my Twill top. The only thing I did see a couple times was while out west going 80+ mph and a truck came by fast the opposite way, the lip came loose but I chalked that up to extreme buffeting ( the whole truck rocked and the sound was terrible). Also...
Clutch warranty is only 12,000 miles. I love my Centerforce clutch. It’s a real game changer. I tow, off road and drive over 5,600 miles from PA to Yellowstone and back this summer. Of course Jeep won’t cover aftermarket parts but they don’t really cover their factory parts when it comes to...
Thanks for watching. I know I always wonder if this stuff really works. Not sure you can trust fancy “influencers” that get paid. This worked for me. Wish it was cheaper or that Jeep just made it right from the factory.
Dreaded faulty Jeep locker sensor! Fix from Z-Automotive through Summit Racing who had it in stock, coming soon.

I’d love to have the opportunity to drive both set ups back to back. I doubt you’ll regret it.. the heavier flywheel and upgraded hydraulics are probably 9/10ths of the improvement. I don’t think you can go wrong with either set up.
I went dual friction. I tow an ATV Trailer periodically. It is grippier and you can take off without throttle. The only “downside” is increased pedal effort. It’s not like an old truck or anything but it’s not Honda Civic light like the stock one. I noticed it the first couple days but now I’m...
Minor correction the JT manual CLUTCH is weak. Not sure if OP has a manual trans or not but the clutch and hydraulics seem to be the weak points.
Not recommending anyone exceed factory ratings but I pulled 6,000lbs with my Centerforce Dual friction clutch/heavier flywheel, 5.13 gears, trailer...
Got all the planned states on my 5,600 mile trip. My Gladiator has been to a total of 18 states.
