IMO, unless you can only barely afford the loaded one, get it. I purposely waited until I found a used *LOADED* JTR at the right price rather than buy a cheaper one with less options. The following were "mandatory" to me... Rubicon (since I'm not going to replace the axles & go to 40's), hard...
Not to my knowledge. I bought a set of
Jeep Sun Visor Repair Kit - Jeep... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CD2MLPVL?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
which seems to have solved the issue. Should have come with these from the factory.

I may install some .75" seat jackers eventually (I'm 6'2"), but I heartily agree that it's NOT an uncomfortable ride. Admittedly, my Premium Mustang GT Convertible had slightly better leather seats, but that's nit-picking IMO.

Drove it to the range to sight in the new reflex red dot sight on my .300 BO PSA Pistol. Eyesight isn't what it was when I younger, and it wasn't all that, even back then. ? Still managed a ~6.5" group shooting at a 4" dot at 100 yds off a rest. Not too bad for a 7.5" barrel I guess...
An uncle of mine used to install a shut off valve into the fuel line, typically near the driver side front door underneath the vehicle where it was easy to reach. He'd just reach under & turn it 90* so it was off when he got out. Even if you stole it, you wouldn't be going very far unless it...
Two things I've done recently that are borderline "must haves" IMO.
1) Install sun visor supports. They will keep your sun visor from breaking the plastic piece that (from the factory) supports them... and I *guarantee* you they WILL break eventually. If yours are already broken, and you...
Nearest fiber optic system from my house is a neighborhood that's a solid ~6 miles away, and since most houses out here are on 2-10 acres, it's highly unlikely that we'll see any fiber optic lines run out here in the next 10+ years at the very least. LOTS of the country doesn't have any access...
He's not wrong.... 80% of the year. We get about a month and a half each fall (Novemberish) and spring (March), and the rest of the year it's either WAY WAY too muggy & hot, or (for about two months) too cold, or raining cats & dogs, to truly enjoy open air weather. And unless you're in...
Been waving at other Jeeps since ~'84. They don't always wave back, but that's ok... I'm waving at the Jeep. If the owner waves back, great!
Don't remember when I first heard about "ducking", but it sounded to me like yet another great way to promote Jeep enthusiasm/culture/lifestyle, or...
Found a pair of factory rock rails and went from
To
SOOOOO much cleaner looking IMHO than the NFab steps that the P.O. had half-assed installed (only 2/3 of the bolts were used) since almost none of it lined up well with the factory holes/mounting points. Plus, now I don't have a step...
