I was reading my manual and noticed it said the tools to remove the hardtop should be in the center console, but mine was empty upon taking receipt of the truck. Is this a mistake or are there supposed to be tools in there? If not there, has anyone found them somewhere else in the vehicle or are...
I've only had my Mojave for a week, but I was fiddling around with that switch the other day and it would not engage. You'd flip it and it would show it was working but then the rear locker light would turn off. I figured I'd read about it later, but sounds pretty odd for the dealer service dept...
Damn, that thing is big. Was hoping to go smaller but keyosauras needs a lot of space. Maybe the hitch one is looking better after all. Thanks for pointing that out though, I hadn’t seen it.
Has anyone found a key fob lockbox to store your key on the truck? I need one for when I surf, so I ordered the venerable Master Lock 5400D, but the damn fob is so big it won’t come close to fitting. The only options I’ve found that might works are big lock boxes meant for real estate agents...
I have an 81 Scrambler and should receive my 21 Gladiator Mojave next week. So while I can't make a comparison owning both (yet), I'm pretty confident in saying they are nothing alike. The Scrambler is an amazing classic Jeep - it's rare, super cool and from the days where things were simple...
One of your pics shows gray Method wheels. Are those the titanium color from Method? They look like an almost exact match to Sting Gray. I’m looking at getting the 704s in titanium. How did you like tryouts? Thanks.
Those look damn good. Do you feel the suspension has much room to compress if you're racing down a rocky trail at 70mph? They almost look bigger than other 37s on the Mojave, even though they measure about 36.
I’ve been thinking about getting these exact tires for my Mojave. Do you mind shooting several more shots from different angles? I have RTs on my Scrambler, but haven’t seen pictures of the 35x11.5 AT3s on a Mojave before. Thanks.
Has anyone with these tires driven through sand, like loose beach sand or sand dunes? I like these tires a lot, but feel that since I'll regularly be off-roading in sand they are far too narrow, even if they are aired down. Would love to hear about experiences in sand with these tires.
I would love something like this. My plan is to use a bikini-style top along with the full Maximus-3 bed rack (when I can get it, that is) to achieve full coverage. I imagine a lot of us have the top off for a good part of the year (months), but want the shade for passengers (and a dog in the bed).
I prefer narrow over wide as well. I like the Kenda 35x10.5s a lot and the price is right on those when you find a deal. Worried that width might be a problem if I'm in beach sand though.
Thanks for explaining that. Unfortunately, it sounds like my need for a bit of float in the sand is at odds with all the rest of my use. I like pizza cutters, like 37x10.5 or 35x10.5 (or even thinner), but perhaps 11.5 is the best width to split the difference.
If anyone has used 10.5s in...
Hi. I'm curious as to the benefit of different tire width for various uses. I'm awaiting my Mojave's delivery late this month and debating swapping out the stock wheels/tires for something different. Given the lift, I lean towards 35s; while I love the look of 37s, I'm not sure I want to have a...
Damn, that's awesome and BIG. You're gonna need to get there extra early and grab a few spots for that. We've also been thinking about what our tailgating setup will be for the parking lot this season. If you use this setup, it would be awesome to see some pics of it in action!
