It should move more feely as there is no track bar resistance pushing the diff side to side or holding it in place. Up and down along with articulation will be easier due to no weight or resistance from the track bar..
Unless it is made with the engine you can probably forget about it in Calif. I can see the dealers marking them up over MSRP and some will pay it. But I have not herd of any official plans of a Hemi in a JT yet from the factory . The AMW Hemi at $40K is still a bit much.
Crate engines not allowed. Must come from a vin vehicle and everything must be used the same. It can be done but they make it almost not possible . Easier to just register it in another state.
IMO, a factory JTR with a 5.7 will be about $90K plus T&L in calif puts it at 100K, possibly more. Well, when they are on the lots I'll decide if I want one . An AWD unit is a no go. They will probably do all they can to mess it up.
I can see that the triangulated links are better than the track bar. I can see that the track bar would cause the diff to do some weird stuff when it hits some bumps. Would also cause the body to move more just due to the nature of the track bar mounting. I'll weld it after I check the alignment...
Hearing nothing but good about this mod. I am not lifted enough for a front DL flip so I will get out of that. The rear suspension will be simpler and better. I just hope there is no hidden issues with it.
Well, it's ordered and on sale. $709 delivered to my door. I have spoken the RC and the install should be cake. I'll be selling my Synergy rear TB and the bracket.
I had a '14 JKUR that I had totally modded. I swore that I was not going to do that again. I messed up again. I don't do mods for any reason other than the fun of doing them and having them. Friends keep telling me they want to buy my JT someday if the time is right. They want it for almost...
My '14 Ram diesel cracked a DPF inside at about 15K miles just enough to have soot in the exhaust tip. No CEL or message. Dealer replaced it under warranty. No problems since .
A day of research on the RC 4 Link and it all sounds good. Looks like the arms would be close down there to the muffler and gas tank but no one says they will hit. I got a buddy that can weld the bracket on. I just need to check my shock lengths. Springs are just 2 inch Synergy. Shocks are set...
The Ohlin shocks have compression and rebound adjustable with reservoir. they look good and I would consider them as they adjust to the soft side better possibly. .
I just installed the rear track bar relocation bracket and it seems to help the rear track bar squirm. But now I hear about the wonders of triangulated 4 link and wonder how much better that would be. Looks like fun to install. I just want to know what I am going to end up with as far as ride on...
