I have measured and centered front and rear with synergy track bars. With full suspension movement at freeway speed there would be considerable side to side rear axle movement. A longer track bar like Thuren makes for the Ram 2500s would be good,
I am lifted about 2.5 inches and have an adjustable rear track bar. But on the freeway a G out bump makes the rear go funky. A alignment shop said I need a track bar re location bracket to solve it. What one are people using with best results. How is the Synergy one?
I got tired of going 1/2 way so I just got he Fox 2.5 adjustable with remote res and had them tuned by accutune . For what I do they are way overkill especially for the front. The rear needs a stiffer shock. Some nice Fox 2.0 would probably do me just fine.
That cam repair can take a few months. It's just wrong that you have to continue payments, registration, insurance, and watch the value of it go down while it just sits waiting for a part. Let us all know what Jeep Cares does for you on this.
I don't care what the U tube goobs say I really don't think there will be a V8 in a JT. The JT can get all the power it needs from a 6. I want some range with mine and the 392 is not there.
I am on my 3rd set of shocks. Original factory Fox had the best ride. Lifted it with the Mopar 2 inch so I got the Fox 2.5s. I blew out a rear one and went to Synergy springs and Fox 2.5 Adjustable remote res. The ride very firm even on soft setting and valved by Accutune. But at 80mph on the...
A good friend of mine is a distributor for BG oil products and has used it on many things with great results. He said it will eliminate the cam / rocker issue as it actually goes into the metal. I am skeptic about that. Could it be worth a try?
I have an ARE CX classic with opening side, front windows. Tailgate is sealed and I have a Bed rug. No dust gets in. If it did I would just put a seal between the Cab rear and shell front window and use the cab blower to pressure the camper.
The design of the rear suspension could be the problem. Perhaps a real conversation of what is going on in the suspension on the freeway. Perhaps the shocks are not the problem. Maybe I am the problem. If I keep the speed down to under 70 all is good.
Comming to my senses and just enjoy the thing for what it is. It's something I can always spend money on that doesn't tell me what it wants,,, LOL.. There is nothing as unique as the Gladiator.
I had some 5100's on a lifted JK and they rode stiff. They have digressive valving where Fox is more progressive. I finally went with MC Rockshocks and they were the best ride. I am leaning toward the Fox 2.0s for an off the shelf fix.
