Feel pretty good we will see one of these in a Wrangler/Gladiator at the Easter Jeep Safari coming up. I mean IT IS the replacement for the 3.6 and V8 engines so its gotta make its way in eventually.
Ok thats good i guess the lifter noise e
Alright thanks I figured its just the ticking of the fuel injectors etc at this point but it does sound like a diesel at times. Runs fine and oil is kept up. It doesn't get driven much (maybe 6000 miles a year.) That video was recorded on a cold startup...
Ive had a Rubi since May 2019 and have towed many trailers and it pulls just fine and has plenty of power. I mean it has as much power as old V8's. I think people here just don't like the fact its a higher revving engine to make power and associate that as being powerless compared to what we...
So who is going to be the first to break the code? I noticed it looks like some pieces overlap the others if you look at the patterns. Been trying to see if that hood matches up to the curvature under the tailgate to complete a QR code. Need some photoshop wizards.
Nice. Well hopefully Jeep will continue to improve. They are not leaders at all in plug in hybrid technology but you did bring up a new consideration for those in cold climates wanting to operate one.
Ok not sure why you wouldn’t mention the model but thanks for pointing out the issue for those that may live in cold climates and could be effected by this. I imagine over time Jeep will continue to improve their PHEV performance. Wonder if the new Grand Cherokee 4xe would have this issue.
Just did a little more research and this problem appears in most PHEV in very cold climates (canada, michigan, Minnesota, etc) so it doesnt appear like this is any special issue of Jeeps 4xe. Same issue diesel owners need to consider with the climates they live in. Good thing i live in the south...
Huh? So if i get in a 4xe on a full charge and I hit the electric only mode you are saying it still requires the ICE provided my communte is with the batteries range?
Who cares what these reports say. I dont see Lamborghini or Ferrari on these lists and I certainly wouldn’t pass one up because consumer reports didnt like it or it didnt have 5 star crash test results.
Thats what I was wondering too, or if the only difference was that the rear inner lip on the gladiator extended down longer. If thats it, that wouldnt look bad. It would look how the front does where it doesnt quite line up with the bottom of the fender.
Has anyone purchased and installed the Xtreme Recon fender flare extensions on their Gladiator? Wondering what the part number may be and how they would look.
Hoping the Grand Cherokee reveal today will maybe give a hint in what 4xe powertrain may wind up in the Gladiator unless its the 2.0 turbo but I think its been mentioned that it doesn't have the durability to belong in the Gladiator for towing. Still not sure it would show itself as a '22 year...
Thats normal operating temp still. We have modern vehicles not 1997 Ford Explorers. Dont worry. Theres so many nanny features to kick in and warn you now to not have to worry about overheating your truck.
