Hell's yeah! Thanks Oscar, someday soon I might become a high tech redneck.
But man there's something to be said about reaching for that old hand mic dangling from its curly cord.
I'm excited about new stuff, thanks again.
I'm curious as to why Rock Krawler is not a contender? I started researching lifts and of course EVO made the list for consideration. I have used Skyacker, Fabtech, and JKS in the past. Also mixed in some Currie and Teraflex parts as well.
Only reason I ask is I'm trying to keep an open mind...
That helps a bunch. After posting I noticed a Ham post under communication on this forum inquiring about magnetic Ham antenna mounts. And then it hit me, I need to get caught up with the times. Hand held as you mentioned is a great idea.
I just reminded myself I need to replace my cb antenna on...
Does anyone install CB radios anymore? Or are you planning to install one in the JT? If so what are you using or plan on installing? My thought are mounting location for CB and antenna?
Maybe I'm old school as I do have one installed in the TJ. Makes it nice when several have them when...
I say don't worry about it and enjoy. Have fun and experience all the new places your Jeep will take you. Someday you will learn the actual meaning of it's a Jeep thing. It takes time.
Have you priced a used JK, or TJ? Resale value is incredibly high for Wranglers. My thought is where will the JT be valued at used in 5 years? From the many years of buying and selling I have noticed wrangler may lose 30% value after 5 years. My guess most other vehicles are at 40% after 5...
What a coincidence, I have owned my TJ going on 12 years. I have redone it 3 times always upgrading. I had a JK but never did anything with it. I traded for the JL and now having the JT, it will be easier upgrading, I think?
Everything I look at as far as aftermarket goes will now cost double...
That sounds awesome. I'm always up for adventure. I am having a difficult time figuring out which way to go with the JT. I did talk with Adam at Rock Krawler this past Friday. But that call was about the JL. I'm kinda leaning toward the Mopar lift for the JT.
I want to be able tow my other...

I was looking at this and I believe there is instructions to remove stock shifter, not sure if this helps, but I like it.
Taking 2 jeeps seems to be the norm for me seeing my TJ is ready for offroad. Just no room in the TJ to pack everything. So my wife drives another jeep with the babies and gear. Now that I have the JT I am considering towing the TJ.
Here is a pic of my 97.
