I am replacing the passenger side axle seal and upon removal of the FAD, I removed the intermediate shaft and noticed quite a bit of play in the bearing. I was trying to clean up the axle tube and change the diff fluid when I noticed a lot of play in the bearing. I made a quick video for...

Thank you for that information. I am sitting at 5.3/5.4 on the caster now with my current setting but trying to decide what I should do to get the caster closer to 6 degrees.
First off, Merry Christmas to you all! So I got the Metalcloak LCAs as a gift along with the Trackbar/Steering Box brace but this post pertains to the LCAs. My current setup is is the MC 3.5 TDR kit. I am using the MC UCAs (Set @ 20”) and the Mopar Lift LCAs and my caster is 5.3/5.4 per that...
I will get a pic this afternoon when I get home as they are out for delivery as we speak. I will also get some side by side of them compared to the oem covers.
I have used the Valvoline Lube before along with Amsoil and couldn't tell a difference out than my wallet being a little thinner! As...
So I ordered a set of Cavfab diff covers and will hopefully get them installed this weekend. I reached out to Cavfab on fluid quantity since their website didn't specify how much oil to use. They said they didn't have an exact amount but recommended I fill to just below the fill plug. I know...
Do yourself a favor and pickup a Redarc brake controller. They have 2 different versions, one being the normal towing conditions and another for offroad towing. The normal conditions will be fine for your needs, plus its way cheaper than the Mopar version and easier to install. Make sure to...
I have a 2020 and mine came factory with the premium twill tonneau cover but I sold it to someone local because I was going to run a Rack but I decided against it and now regretting that I sold it! Back when I sold mine they were a dime a dozen and now I cant find them anywhere!
So is the reason the OEM shaft doesn’t vibrate is because of the CV joint at the TC? Because the OEM style is a 1300 series joint at the axle and CV at the TC. And wouldn’t the CV just get tore up at the axle side due to the angles?
Ok good to know on the shocks. I just don’t know what exactly I will do. I don’t use 4hi in lot of times but the fact this now just takes one limit off the table when it’s capable of doing it with the stock shaft.
Well I started with 6.5 degrees of caster and the starting UCAs measurements were 19.75”. After talking to MC, every full rotation is .75 degree of caster at 1/8” I adjusted all the way to 20.375” (20-3/8”) which would be roughly 3.75 degrees taken out which would have put me roughly at 2.75...
Well I spoke to Adam's yesterday and they basically gave me 2 options! Option #1 Lower the Jeep! WTF! and Option #2 adjust the pinion to match the driveshaft and deal with the shitty steering! While I get they have no control over the adjustments and what is built in, but not even a you can...
I have not but would be interested if I could find a shop locally to do it and the cost was decent. I know its a lot of work just to remove everything from the axle housing. I may look into it when I go to have the Jeep regeared. That's if its not traded in by that time!
