I think all the JT's you all can't find are in southern ID, there must be 5000 of them here. I see one, two, four, seven some time's a day running around.
To clarify it's a hybrid system correct? Powered by a 4 banger with elect motor back up, regenning power to a battery? Is the 4 a turbo 4?
I had a system like this in my ford sedan. Was awesome..... For a sedan. Regen down hill, when breaking, elect motor 100% at some speeds (sub 15 mph)...
Took a trip over to Crater Rings NNL just out side of Mountain Home ID today. Bought 45 min from my place.
Not a huge off road trip, but the 3-4 mile round trip takes a truck/jeep.
Pics to come.
To add;
If I was replacing my wheels I would do all 5.
I did not replace my wheels but did do 5 tires when I upgraded them.
This way I have the correct tire on the spare if needed.
I would like a 5th matching rim then I could do a 5 tire rotation as mentioned; just not seen a Freedom rim...
You'll need the required town bar, a unit to do the breaks on the gladiator (I don't know what those are). Once hooked up. Put the transfer case in neutral, check that it's in neutral, checks lights etc.
Check that the transfer case is in Neutral.
And your good to go.
Did I mention checking...
So much bad advice my God, jeeez.
Some good as well.
Yes your Jeep is a decent tow rig.
To your question OP; I personally feel that’s to big of a rig.
I think that on any 20+’ long 8’ WIDE trailers w slides.
The width is a big issue, and even w max tow your probably over the frontal area...
Old story from 98'.
I walked into the Jeep dealer in Kirkland WA to look at Jeeps. Sales guy came up said "We are really busy, can you come back later?" and gave me his card. I said "Sure!". :swear:
Drove down 10 miles to the Bellevue Jeep dealer, looked at a Wrangler, white, 4.0l, Manual...
