Some OK sales going on at Front Runner Outfitters, lots of vehicle racks systems, overland and camping stuff

This is a necropost, so probably wasting my time replying to the OP but... With my phone and a normal 3ft cable plugged into the inside of the center console, I had no end of problems. Dropped calls, lost GPS, even hard resets.
I added a Carlinkit wireless-Carplay adapter and tried it out...
I'm a big fan of the Petzl Aktic Core - the "Core" is a USB lithium battery that sits in a 3xAAA tray, so you can charge it but still throw AAAs in if you ever need to. Expensive, light, compact backpacking-grade stuff, so I'm sure there are cheaper simpler options too. But I've had nothing...
I just wanted to boost this post! I noted this post a while ago, ordered the same parts, and put off installing because I figured it would take forever. Couldn't have been more wrong, this really is a easy 20 minute job. The panels pop right off, and there's plenty of room behind the dash. I...
Lol I bet the shop intended to pull that out after configuring things, and forgot. Lucky you
+1 on read the directions carefully and go slow. It's not the most user-friendly to set up, but it's pretty simple once it's configured
Anyone tried a light bar on the front of the ACCC? Wondering if the shadow of the cab would make it unworkable. (One night wheeling session with the sharp LED headlight cutoffs and aux lighting went to the top of my list, lol)
Interesting point... EDT contains LX4 since 2020. But cetane boost probably isn't very important to most of us running stock engines, whereas lubricity sure as hell is... Straight LX4 looks to be a bit cheaper MSRP too (though not at the moment on amzn, some sale going on)
WTH, unlike their previous systems this does nothing whatsoever to get rid of the problematic motorcycle aux battery. It remains in place, being a liability and potentially wrecking your starting battery when it dies. This is just a third house battery. Looks fine but I don't really see why...
From the other thread:

Gladiator production dates June 4 2020 - May 13 2022 (different dates for Wranglers also noted in this recall)
Hope someone can help. I watched about a thousand hours of videos, but eventually did order sight unseen. Can't describe the relief and excitement when I got it and it was completely awesome
Random factoids I've been learning (as I install power distribution and appropriate fuses in my new bare-bones ACCC)
The upstairs LED stalk lights draw 80mA each
The pivoting National Luna LED lights draw a max 240mA each on brightest white setting. All 5 on full bright is a surprising 1.2...

I assumed he was referring to the seat jackers here...
Got a link to the dead pedal you can get your foot under? That sounds interesting
Did no one notice that he's 6'4" and doesn't want to raise the seat?
But yeah, unfortunately if you don't want to cut the seat mounts, you don't want to carve seat foam, and you don't want to jack up the front of the seat... I think you're out of options.
Perhaps a dead pedal could help, by...
Hm, I followed the directions but perhaps that was a mistake. The main support for the winch plate is the 8 threaded studs in the tow hooks, embedded in the bumper. Without those studs, there's nothing to hold the plate in place - except some tiny lower brackets with rather small and loose...
I can't add a long term review yet, but I did recently install one of these on my 22 Rubicon, along with a winch. I originally did snag one of the open-box deals, and it's true, the packaging must be a major problem. I tracked it all the way to "out for delivery" but it never arrived. A day...
