I went with the Ridge Grapplers (35"). Overall I'm very pleased. Good on road and off road performance. Went wheeling yesterday in some pretty wet and muddy terrain (Florida) and they got me through no issue.
Bummer...I really was eyeing the HD rear. I added the after market rear quarter sliders mentioned earlier and was hoping they would mount up. Sounds like I'm out of luck if this bumper does not have a location to mount up sliders in each corner.
That may be true but I walked into HF and got all of my recovery gear in one place and my total spend was far lower that going on line and spending time working to save a few pennies. I went in, got it all and was home installing it in 45 minutes(beat that Amazon). I'll put my Apex 12k winch...
Sunrider has to come off to remove rear section. Taking the entire roof off does take longer because of the sunrider. If you go full topless often then the stock panels may be best. For me due to work scheduling taking the full top off is usually just special occasions. The sunrider has...
Winch (Apex 12k), D rings, Tree saver, snatch block, tow strap. All have been put to use and have worked perfectly. Lots of tools and other items from there as well but not specific to the JT
Single best mod I have done. Living in Florida weather is beautiful but rain can hit at any time. I open the top every day and no longer worry about daily pop up rain. Flip it open in 5 seconds and close it just as fast. Worth every penny if you want to feel the open air in your JT any time...
Same here 10% is not motivation enough for an impulse buy. If I planned to purchase prior to BF because I wanted the item for my build then 10% is a bonus and may cause me to wait until then but you won't see me buying something I didn't plan on for that little discount
The Orlando Jeep Club is a great group in central Florida. They sponsor trail rides and other activities. Just ran the south end of the Tread Lightly. It is most definitely a scratch machine (every panel has scratches)!! I knew it would be going in but I bought the Gladiator with the intent...
Totally love my Nitto Ridge Grapplers. They are quiet and smooth for what they are. I really have noticed no ride difference over the the stock bridgestones.
Your Gladiator looks similar to mine in the garage at best I have about a foot more clearance. I back in all the way to the wall (thank you back up camera) and remove the top and it clears my opener and I can then pull in front ways and park under the hanging top. Its very tight but it works...
I just installed the Teraflex disconnects. Very happy with them. I went with them just because all of my other suspension mods are Teraflex. I used all Teraflex on my JK and will do the same on my JT.
I know both dealers you have mentioned. Yes those charges are BS and typical buyers will pay them so they put it on every car. Just like any car purchase know what your willing to pay for the vehicle and what is a good deal for you. They will remove every one of these crazy charges. I have...
I really like the Voswitch I installed. I have the new version that is 4 switches and mounts in the same location as the factory switches. Fully programmable and you can swap the fuses so your not limited to 2 at 40 amps and 2 at 15 amps like the factory unit. It was a simple install.
I finally got the Gladiator back from the dealer and was able to install the aftermarket rear sliders. Overall I am impressed with the quality and the look. They are 1/3 the price of the Mopar ones and I like them better. The packaging was solid and they arrived in perfect condition...
These sliders are rock solid. Perfect step for my family and me. Most sliders/steps in my buddies Jeeps have some flex when you step on them...not these. Heavy Duty is an understatement. I get tons of compliments on them as well. Even non Jeep folks mention how good they look and that they...
