A 1/2 brass close nipple, so I could finally finish my gas grill installation (3rd or 4th trip to the hardware store for forgotten parts) and a hanging flower for my Mom's birthday :)
I appreciate that they went a different direction than the typical jacked up tandem axle, but if you're going to slam it, you need to chop the top too. And I agree, the angry grill comes off as a lazy off-the-shelf add on
My second time completely topless and first time doorless this weekend too
I have a cordless ratchet that does a fine job on all the bolts, a little smaller and easier to handle than a drill
the little keychain bottle opener they give away at bars is a great tool for levering off the clip...
I was giving my rollbard a dusting today prior to pitting the HT back on and noticed an area on top of the soundbar that doesn’t look very well painted. Is it worth bringing back to Jeep for repaint? My low trust threahold makes me worry that they’ll just make it worse. anyone else see similar?
Anyone know the weight of the rear section? I got a catalog for Miata accessories showing a HT sling for under $70. Thinking it might be easier to adapt it to the JT top than starting from scratch. Miata top weighs about 45 lbs, Ive wrestled the JT top on and off a few times by myself, but the...
Their explanation makes no sense, why would the brake system check itself under acceleration? I've had problems with the ABS activating when it's not supposed to on a Chevy. Not fun, but only happened under braking
How I imagine the sound your describing makes me think of a torque converter...
I have an X4, in the interest of science- I just went out and laid down on it (closed with tailgate up) I'm 6' tall ~245lbs, I pressed down on the cover and felt some flexing, took a deep breath and turned around and sat gently down and laid back. It did deform a bit, but it held all of me but...
If my truck hadn't come with them, All-Weather floor mats would have been the first addition, either Weather tech or Husky. Next was a hard tonneau cover, I wanted some secure storage space to tuck away the freedom panels on the road.
Shopping now for a step/slider, trying to find the right...
I can't speak to the group buy deal, but based off what I paid for my X4, it's likely to be closer to the high end of your range. It's a nice solid product, well worth the price, IMHO
I'm seeing a pretty consistent 17.5mpg on my hilly backroad commute on my Sport, I'd expect the Rubicon to be a little lower due to the heavier tires.
At least it runs on regular, my old Ram was around 13/14 on midgrade.
Not sure why you'd need both? If you have a specific desire for the Weathertech liner, just tell the Line-X installer to leave the tailgate out, I'm sure they can accomodate. Or just take it off before giving the truck to them.
