I could be wrong but from my understanding as long as the charge is going thru the IBS which I believe it should be in this case but not entirely sure it should know. When charging the battery directly if you connect directly to the battery and skip the IBS it wouldn't know unless you reset it...
Thanks for the update. I'll keep an eye out for them and we'll see but my JT is currently in the shop getting some much deserved love so not sure there is room in the budget but you never know.
yeah, I have been eyeing the oracle tinted version but just can't spend the money on them but $250 I could do but they don't support the Blind Spot Monitoring but they have the spot for them so maybe they will come out with a version that does.
This is one of the only times I miss my F-150 powerboost. It had the 7.2kw onboard generator. I powered my house off of it for 3 days during the last winter freeze that took out the power.
Man, that sucks. I am sorry you are going through this and there isn't a better dealership closer to you. This is what makes you give up on a brand. In my younger years I had a Kia Spectra5 HB and it was a great car until the gas fuel system started having issues. Took it to the closest...
I have a CVT Pioneer 72inch with extended fly, comfort bag, insulated wall, 2 shoe bags, CVT 270 awning mounted on a Rebel Off-Road Full Height Bed Rack with headache rack. I would be willing to let it all go if you are interested in it. Located in San Antonio, TX area. I was just looking to...
So I actually put in an inquire with AMW 4x4 about this to get a direct answer from them. They just called me and said they absolutely can do a diesel swap. The cost is about $10K-$15K more expensive because everything is on the wrong side so they have to flip everything and remove brackets and...
That looks like a decent desk to work from but not sure I would want to lug that thing around everywhere or pay for shipping plus the asking price given the retail price on it but I appreciate the offer.
Yeah, sorry I probably worded it wrong. I was looking more for at camp. I was realized sitting in the JT trying to work on a laptop wasn't comfortable. Trying to look for a better solution. Haven't really got the opportunity to really go out and see what actually works yet. Just used to day...
I'm running 42x13.5R20 on mine. But they are expensive. Only 2 companies make them Nitto and Mickey Thompson.I would look at what you do with your rig and then look at what tire best fits that need. Just because the tire looks good doesn't mean it will suit your particular need the best and you...
Thanks for the response. Seems like you have a pretty decent setup for working remote. I do IT so pretty much just working at the computer the whole time. My JT has a 6.5inch lift on 42s so unless I bring a bar stool with me working off the tailgate doesn't work for me. I'll probably start with...
I work remote for my job so I am able to work from wherever. I just got starlink installed in my JT. Over christmas vacation I decided to try out starlink and instead of using PTO I just worked from the car as my wife and kid drove. I realized that is not the most comfortable thing to do for 8...
Mine didn't have the trail rail or a top on it and was missing the rivnuts. It had the holes but no rivnuts installed. I used this tool to get them installed. It comes with everything I needed except the bolts which you can get at any hardware store or from Amazon as well.
Rivet Nut Tool...
Yeah, he caught his tire between two rocks and broke his tie rod but it didn't stop him and we kept wheeling for another few hours and thankly no one rolled over. This is the thread from that trip if you want to check it out.
