As someone else cautioned, the aluminum mounting adapter has black paint on the threads. Clean this off so you get good metal-to-metal contact with the brass insert.

It appears that while the LED bulbs will never offer the performance of the OEM $ 1000 LED, they are a vast improvement over the factory halogens and, if properly installed...
There is a video somewhere around here where a guy swapped out all the halogen bulbs in the existing fixtures, (headlights, DRL's, turn signals, and fogs), with LED's for less than $100. Is there a problem I'm not seeing?
I ordered a car cover for the wife’s Beetle convertible a week before Thanksgivinga Christmas present. They quoted 4-6 weeks and it arrived on Christmas Eve.
Perfect fit and well made.
But I was nervously that it wouldn’t make it.
Makes me glad I live in Ohio. There’s no annual vehicle tax and tags for non com trucks are no longer a thing. Registration is the same as cars. About $60 per year.

A word of caution, if you buy these, it's not a foam block on back. The pad is recessed in the mirror so it fits flush, and is a 3M red adhesive. You get one shot. One.
Driving it gives you a rush of oxy-gen.
