  1. Hood Mounted Solar Panels

I hear ya. I’ll have to look into size vs cost on the 15W and types of charge controllers. I saw some of those get kinda pricey. I’m just looking for a bit of extra battery support as it won’t be driving quite as much during the summer months. If it gets too into the weeds I’ll just save up for...
  2. What's one thing every Jeep owner should keep in their vehicle at all times?

Please keep all hands, feet, and heads inside the vehicle at all times. :jk:
  3. Hood Mounted Solar Panels

Did it work? Or still dead after using the small panel?

  6. Clayton 2.5 Ride Right Lift Questions

Should be pretty ok then. You might have a slight rake but nothing out of factory spec or extreme unless you’re uber dialed into the heights of front and rear. Then when you go for a winch or bumper you know what size to get by taking a before and after measurement.
  7. ✊🏼 Anybody got these grab handles?

Never seen em before but those look pretty cool. I’d rock em. Slightly pricier than the regular ole 550 cord specials though.
  8. Tensioner and Idler pulleys Water pump too?

There are some aluminum ones out on the market that I’ve been eyeing. A couple even have a window gauge to see where the level is at.
  9. Hard to start after getting gas

Has it happened anywhere other than the gas station? If not id be looking at fuel lines for a drip. It sounds like it’s not getting the fuel it needs until the pump primes it again. Meaning the system is not staying pressurized when you go to fill it up. Maybe someone else can get more techy...
  10. O

My wife would DEFINITELY be on that scoreboard. :bandit:
  11. AEV Mojave is it worth the price

Not trivial at all!!! Imagine running through the desert at 90mph in a $100k vehicle and a Honey bee smashes into your windshield!! At 55mph those things make a heck of a mess in my $30k vehicle and I’m unhappy. At 90mph in a $100k vehicle it would effectively blind you! The splatter area in...
  12. Clayton 2.5 Ride Right Lift Questions

Spacers shouldn’t really change the ride much. Expand on what you have going on in the front as far as bumper, winch, small animal statues, anvils just the basic stuff and you’ll get some feed back on the spacer size.
  13. Tensioner and Idler pulleys Water pump too?

I’d go ahead and order one up then inspect when I was down in there on the pump. No sense in changing it out if it’s still functioning perfectly well. Then you’ll have one on hand in case it’s needed later. What reservoir did you go with?
  14. “Service Shifter Module” warning

Wonderful!!!! If mine is going to malfunction now would be a great time for it to happen. Kids are now out of school so Jeep doesn’t need to get used much until I get a part time landed.
  15. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Cool! My knowledge base is CB antenna wiring as well. I figured it would be similar so no coily. I haven’t installed a radio yet but no w I know when the time comes. :like:
  16. “Service Shifter Module” warning

I haven’t. I did a tightening on the negative and grounds in the engine bay and the issue hasn’t been back. I didn’t dive too deep into it. If it reappears I’ll go back in. I’m not a fan of jumping in and messing with stuff that doesn’t need to be messed with until I need to mess with it……..if...
  17. Lasfit X4 Air Compressor?

Both of the options above are really good ones. MorFlate I’ve seen in action but never used. ARB compressors are some of the best on boards out there and widely used. I’ve had the twin compressor installed on a Jeep and absolutely never had an issue with it. Thors had the Jeep branded compressor...
  18. Lasfit X4 Air Compressor?

It very well could be. I really wanted it for all the add ons honestly. The 4 tire fill up and the gauge work really well. I’ve never really owned a good quality compressor for airing up tires and wanted one for this Jeep. I always used the cheapo HF unit that overheats after 2 35” tires and...
  19. Wolfbox Wide-Angle Convex Side Mirrors (Pair) from $69.99. Extra Discount Code Included!

Push them out? Man I was thinking about doing the little Garmin cameras on the sides and running them as mirrors. I don’t want ANYTHING pushed further out from the body.
