I'm sure I'm in the minority of people who have manual windows (2023 Sport - total base besides Max Tow). But for those that do, do you find your windows rolling down on their own? As in every few weeks you have to roll them back up because they creeped open a quarter inch or so? I roll the...
The best thing about the Sunrider is opening / closing at a stop light without even taking my seatbelt off. That simplicity means it gets opened every time I drive the Gladiator - unless raining.
Mine does the exact same thing. I also notice that the latch on the passenger side swings MUCH easier than the driver side - so I assume it could be related to a latch adjustment of some sort? I haven't really tried to mess with it yet since it's still water tight.
Everyone towing fifth wheel horse trailers around here seem have vented tailgates...but the Gladiator ain't no fifth wheel hauler.
I have heard those nets can reduce structural integrity of the bed walls, leading to damage. I don't know how accurate those claims are however.
I bought some Cerakote Trim Coat today for my unpainted fenders and all the rest of the plastics with the goal being sun protection. Opening the box, the instructions state not for use on new vehicles. So, I went to Internet and apparently you're supposed to wait until the plastics are damaged...
The additional lip on my 2023 Max Tow is quite small...maybe a half inch? I can always measure them - but I assume since the axles are the same width between the two, that the fenders, including the lip, are ultimately the same width (for practical purposes).
Keep in mind that J.W. Corbett is first and foremost a hunting area. That's what JWC is primarily about. Coming in second place it's a hiking / camping preserve, with scout and youth activities coming in third place. Somewhere down the list it's a place where Jeepers / dual-sporters can enjoy...
West Palm myself (well more like Loxahatchee). When hunting season is over and the water levels come down a little, check out J.W. Corbett Wildlife Management Area for some mild trails. Trail 6 is traditionally more for the Jeep crowd, when it's open.
Welcome to the area. We're weeks away from much better open-air weather. That said, it's still South Florida, and it can still rain any time. I'm sorry you missed the 1990's, when South Florida was awash is great trails seemingly everywhere, and we had a robust off-roading community.
I look forward to my Friday routine every week: Get the weekday beater home, change clothes, pull the Jeep out of the garage for the first time since last Sunday, open the Sunrider and go.
