I couldn't agree more .
The grille ( whole front end ) I want is 6k on the truck if I do the labor , so pretty far out there . But the gears are turning ..... Something like this .
I'm actually surprised how many folks really love the wrangler front on the Gladiator . I really liked the nukieser concept years past , and hoped for something unique and more historically Gladiator like . However I don't hate the JL front either . This has made for interesting feedback !
Not to take away from experience , but modern twin scroll turbos ,engine tech , and transmissions create , pretty linear power , not like the light switch they were into the 90s and early 2000s . I've never had an issue off-road . And any build going into tuff stuff should have appropriate...
It's not crapping on anything . It's your opinion and I respect that. I want to be clear Im not suggesting they offer the 2.0 in a Gladiator . I making the statement that I run into alot of folks with a strong opinion that the 2.0 is a dog from a performance perspective in a JL . It then becomes...
It make mores torque , sooner . But I'm not even talking about having it as an option in a Gladiator . I'm making the statement that I think it's a fantastic option in a wrangler , speaking from experience.
I can agree , I would prefer the pedestrian 5.7 be offered . But when folks tell me the 2.0 is a dog , I don't think they have had the pleasure of driving one. Plus it's pretty easy to turn up the wick . I'm not trying to sell this thing , despite sounding so. Lol
You can still have the interchangeable parts that matter , but look different . I have zero complaints about the chassis . Historically the gladiator has never looked like a jeep . But different strokes for different folks .
First , why couldn't Jeep at least put a proper dedicated front clip on the Gladiator? For all the waiting we did it really sucks to call it a Gladiator and have no real distinguishing factor from a wrangler when viewed from the front . It would have been cool to see a variation of the CDR or...
I have both glad and JLU , both modded. Glad if you tow over 3500lbs or haul objects that do not fit in a wrangler . If not get a JLU 2.0T it's more nimble everywhere and room wise doesn't give up much .
went Rubicon for the the lockers, t case gears , highline fenders .
I went gas for cost...
Tire pressure is free. But ya the factory fox shocks could use more damping especially rebound . The rears more than the fronts . When loaded it's really apparent. Replacement fox are supposed to be valved firmer .
Agree here too. What will work , and what will work rite are two different things . There is always an acceptable middle ground for each circumstance, but even that isn't ideal. It's misleading to push the agenda that no regear is needed because the truck physically moves . Sure it will, but at...
Fully understand. The current state of affairs across the auto industry isn't helping either . However I believe it's becoming a crutch . So much to talk /complain about , but no need . I think you made a solid choice , spoken from my own experience with Toyota . Good luck , we'll see you on...
