Define "crap" (as in specific MPG). And what was it before the lift and 35s?
I seriously doubt either a tune or gear change would pay for itself by an increase over "crap".
Bigger tires and higher profile decrease MPG with weight and wind resistance.
I wondered the same thing.
After reading a LOT here and in the JL forum on lifting, I decided that for the relatively small premium that a stock Mohave costs over a properly lifted other model, I put down my deposit on a custom order Mohave. Every one I found on dealer lots had too many options...
I agree with this - please re-aim your headlights after a lift! Even if you don't have a lift - if people are flashing their lights at you then get the lights aimed.
It is this kind of thing that makes me miss everyone having to get annual safety inspections. I get that there were problems with...
Some are like that, but not all. Go to another dealer. It might be farther away, but I don't believe in being held hostage by locals that insist on adding on excess profits on an already expensive vehicle.
Since the conversation drifted from "how much snow" to "how to in snow":
Slow down.
Gradual and gentle acceleration / cornering / braking.
Newer tires are better than older.
Better to arrive later than not at all.
