I can get a couple base Raptors here at just a hair under 60k. The TRX starts at 70k, which is a bit of a stretch out of my budget. However, we all know dealers are going to be asking above MSRP for this truck as it is new and everyone wants the latest and greatest. I would imagine it would be a...
I contemplated trading in my Gladiator for a Raptor. I would imagine the fun factor with that HO 3.5L is immense. However, I think I'm going to wait to see what the 2021 Raptor will entail, as that new F150 interior is GORGEOUS.
Hey guys,
I'm nearing the 500 mile break in for the new Dana 5.13 gears that I had installed recently. I'm going to drop the differential oil and change it myself.
What gear oil are you guys using for your 5.13 or 4.88 gears, front and rear? How much oil does each differential take?
Thanks...
This. is. AWESOME. Thanks for sharing! I've been super paranoid about the longevity of my Gladiator, so its nice to hear that yours has been very reliable. Keep us updated!
Thanks, but they don't do gears. They recommended Gears and Rears in Ft. Lauderdale, but I've never heard of them and can't find any reviews so I'm going to pass on that.
Anyone else??
I am having a serious debate internally on whether to go 4.88 or 5.13's. I really can't decide. i see threads like this and think 488 is fine, but then see people posting that 5.13's is really the best. I don't know what to do! I'm also on 37's.
Hey guys,
I'm looking to add either 4.88 or 5.13 (leaning toward the 5.13) gears in my Overland. The 3.73's have been decent, but there is a significant amount of power loss.
Anyway, does anyone recommend a shop to do the work in south Florida? I'm in Palm Beach County.
Thanks!
Adrian
Haha! I've got 3 kids, all in car seats, in the back of my Gladiator. Diono Radian XT car seats and one rear facing still. They all fit just fine! Makes me happy I can still own my Gladiator and the kids enjoy it.
