Bummer about the accident and I hear you on the mods. Luckily all of mine are not permanent but I have a lot of work to do this weekend to return it to stock!

I have been looking at trading my 2018 Mojito JLUR for a Gladiator for months...almost pulled the trigger back in October but glad I waited. I paid $42k for it brand new with a MSRP just under $50k. Back then, I would have gotten $37,500 with 7.5% below invoice on the Gladiator. This week I...
I'm also in WA near Seattle and diesel is 20-30 cents CHEAPER than regular unleaded where I fill up. For the bean counters out there, redo cost analysis using those figures and it starts making sense. And yes, on the socialist side of the country everything is overpriced...
Cheers.
I have been patiently waiting for the diesel to come out and would have bought one if available on my JL at the time. One of the reasons I was considering the diesel was because of one day removing all the expensive crap that makes modern diesels unreliable and laggy...

Totally agree...I know many may disagree but round lights are classic and fit the Jeep better than square ones imo. I have KC Daylighters on my JL and I get comments all the time and they work well.

OP - amazing write up! Looking forward to future updates from you!
The plywood thing is an ongoing joke that you will see pop up in numerous threads...there are even a few threads dedicated to the subject.

This. I have a manual on my JL and travel everyday with over 1200 feet elevation change. Around town isn't so bad (definitely feel the 35s though) but highway and any sort of hills you have to drive it like a ricer screaming in 4th at 70 or in 3rd if you want to actually accelerate. My biggest...
I have the US Wheel Rat Rod steel smoothies on my JLUR. I ordered then in black but I just recently painted them bronze. I still need to paint the bumpers and rock sliders but this should give you an idea. I love them btw. Here are a couple of crappy pics.
