The TJ era, 1997-2006, you had to change a plastic speedometer gear to a different tooth count when you went larger tires or gear change. A Lot of people didn't know that and they would drive around thinking they were getting 20mpg in a 4.0L Jeep.
Keep in mind I live in Florida. Regardless of what people think, we do have some hilly terrain, just not a lot. I live about 80 ft. above sea level. With that out of the way.
My first JT was a Rubicon and I ran 35x10.50x17 Kenda Klevers with the stock wheels. I could not tell a difference in...
If you have onboard air or short distance access to air, I would run 15psi. The A/T tire will be fine. If not, go lower. I run 4H, hold traction control button until it beeps. It will be a beast in the sand. If you have a Rubicon or Mojave, turn on Offroad+.
If you are in a area that rusts I would address bare metal pretty quickly. Since you haven't received the results you were expecting from AEV, I would get a paint touch up pin that matches and then spray it with a can of clear. And clear all of them to prevent further issues.
Me either. My Dad donated skin to a guy who worked at a gas stationed who filled up a car that was running and it/he caught on fire. His whole body needed skin grafts. The small town I lived in came together and a lot of people donated. He didn't survive.
I did it one time though. On the way to...
Well that wasn't very brief.
So I will be brief. A brand new vehicle has a warranty. Any CJDR dealer is required to fix it. Have your local dealership fix it.
I am sorry you are experiencing this type of drama with a new vehicle though.
My 2023 Mojave stock with A/T tires was also entered at 32.75 from the factory. I measured them before changing tires. They were not 32.75, more like 32. But my speedo was spot on from the factory so I'm sure they have some algorithm in the computer we cannot see.
I understand not everyone can live in a safe neighborhood like myself. And by taking proactive countermeasures you can prevent any type of malcontent towards your property is the smartest thing you can do. But, my concern would be why did it happen on the only day you didn't incorporate your...
Where did someone say that you have no idea what you are talking about? Or suggested you don't know anything? I think the consensus so far is...you do you. Everyone runs their trucks different on different trails. That is what makes us unique. Calm.
There you said it, stock control arms and sway bars might limit uptravel. Yes sir, I agree. The whole reason I am comfortable with my set-up. If I off road to an extent of creating a situation that is going to damage my truck or limit my capability, I will make adjustments.
I don't jump my truck, never intend to either. I have been down a washboard road at 45mph and cycled the suspension to the max I ever intend to, and heard/felt the front bumpstops fully engaging. You see where I'm going? Everyone uses their truck different. If I had any intention of raising...
Rear fully stuffed

37x12.50x17 BFG KO2 on stock Mojave optional wheels. BFG's run a little small, I think mine measured out to 35-7/8". I don't remember. No lift. No rub. I trimmed the inner fender liner a little and added one washer on each side of the steering stops.
Hey - I just saw Tri-Lake Products on the map. I couldn't zoom in enough to see if I was laying down in the parking lot working on my Jeep.
Are you stalking me? :movember:
I'm younger, stronger and better looking than all of you. Well, I'm also a legend on my own mind.
I installed the OG start stop eliminator in my new 2023 JTM after driving 3 years without one in my 2020 JTR, and pushing the button every time I cranked. I can honestly say it has felt like a...
