Taco’s have some nice aftermarket options for mounting the spare tire behind the tailgate or replacing the tailgate entirely. I will eventually go with larger than 35” tires. I’ll be wanting something like that. It would also improve the departure angle.
Totally agree on the top. Jeep has good reason to make it stop at the top of the cab but they should also allow it to be lowered fully. I made that suggestion to Bestop a few days ago. It would be a good way to differentiate their top from the OEM one.
I’ve used USAA’s purchasing service three times. The first was before they had the partnership with TrueCar. I got a pretty damn good price on a Mercedes GLK for my wife. The next time, after the partnership with TrueCar, was for purchasing a Jaguar F-Pace. It was a real PITA for me with all...

Totally 100% dead on true...
Yea, that's a pretty good way to describe it. I also love that tan top. I'll be painting my hard top like that if Jeep doesn't start selling it in that color.
The Rubicon comes with rock rails. However they are body mounted, not frame mounted. They afford protection but not nearly as much as frame mounted rails.
