I have the Mopar 2" lift and mine doesn't pull to the left at all. I also have the same wheel / tire combo that was on it before the lift. The dealer had 18x9 American Racing with 295/70-18 Mastercraft MXT and I definitely gained. It handles better than stock, handles good enough for me offroad...
True! I do love to turn wrenches on my own rig! Did all of the work on my own vehicles since I was 16. I guess I love to show own my work too. On the trail. I've know a couple of guys that I've only seen on the trail a few times. Heck one barely evens drives his because he's working on it so...
Is it just me or is there a trend of builders out there that spend more time modding and building than enjoying their rig. I see more people adding parts and mods than just getting out there and enjoying their rig. I have a friend that s constantly building his rig, working on it, and...
Keep the receiver on and just remove the ball mount whenever you hit the trails. You never know when you may need to tow something. Boat, trailer, etc. I tow my boat and trailer and definitely need it. But I also take my JT off road and on trails every other weekend. I just remove the mount...
I have the Mopar 2" loift with 3/4" spacer up front and I have the rubicon express 2.5+ quick disconnects. Added the spacer to remove the rake cause by the winch and heavier front bumper. No issues with disconnects and I had future suspension changes in mind when I purchased teh 2.5"+...
The bumper is from Amazon brother. Lol! I thought I would actually have problems winching but it's ben good to me so far. Had a smittybilt but it was so heavy, my front end had a rake to it. I think rugged ridge has a really strong aluminum one out now. But, this one is looking good and...
I agree with you. I have 295/75-18 on 18x9 wheels. Ride good and still handle off road. Why go to 37" when you don't need them? Looks maybe? You're right! Not worth the wear and tear they would cause!
I guess I helped you open that can of words. Hahaha!
My dealer had American Racing 18"x9" wheels and 295/75-18 Mastercraft Courser MXT tires installed before I bought it. All of the calculators say they are the equivalent to a 34.3 tire. With the stock lift there was no rub at all. I installed the Mopar 2". I also installed Rubicon Express sway...
Haven't had that problem. I do know that if you don't put the plug in, you will hear all of the noises from underneath and feel all of the wind and temperature from underneath and outside the vehicle. It will drive you nuts! lol
Not having that is like not having a 2 dr gladiator. There isn't a real big market for it. I haven't seen a lot of people ever complain about having a keyless entry sensor on a truck tailgaite. Ever! I guess if we all used the tailgate as much as we used the doors it would be necessary. I...
My wife and I got the hard top on both her JKU and my JT. It is a lot cheaper to get an aftermarket soft top than it is to get an aftermarket hard top. Winters are great!
I have the Mopar 2" lift on my Overland. My JT is my daily driver as well as on the trails and muddin! It drives and rides good and does well on the trails and in the mud. The only other thing I added to the suspension was Rubicon Express Quick disconnect end sway bar end links. I've puuled...
Ahhhh.... Didn't think about that. With carseats, it's really a lot of trouble lifting the seat up and down to get underneath. That is something good to consider. A company would benefit from that.
The lock is just a cheap $5 cam lock from Home depot. Similar to what's used on toolboxes. If I would have know this were gonna turn out the way it did, I would have researched a better looking and performing lock.
