I get it, and you are asking good questions. It's just hard for me to rectify spending that kind of money on a wrap. If I protect the paint the best way possible; parking under cover, good quality wax/ceramic coat, cleaning insects off quickly, I feel comfortable I've protected my original paint...
How long do you all expect your paint to last? How long do you expect PPF to last? It seems to me that after a period of time I would rather re-paint the Jeep than to re-apply PPF for another 7K+
I bought my 37x12.50x17 BFG KO2's from Discount Tire.
My local tire store could/would price match but their service after the sale is a little lacking due to the small size of their shop. If I need anything done I would be waiting all day for them to get to it. With Discount I have a better...
I've got the same oil I bought at a huge discount last year. As I just turned over 2500 miles, it may be a while before I use it all. I have two free Jeep Wave changes too.
I understand you are retired and probably have a lot of time on your hands...but didn't you just by a Gladiator? Stop trying to over analyze everything and get out and enjoy your new Jeep.
I would demand my deposit be returned to me and cancel the order.
Then if/when the Jeep shows up at your dealer I would wait a few weeks and go back and renegotiate the deal. What's it going to hurt now.
Careful, some people are going to tell you 4.10 and 37" tires are a no go. But not to worry, other people like myself will tell you it will work. I am currently pushing 18mpg around town.
BTW, the way your picture is it looks like you have a 44" tires in the bed. It looks huge.
Good luck with...
Trying not to reinvent the wheel. Often times to many posts turn up for the same thing that has been hashed on for years. BTW, good quality photo skills you have.
Your going to get opinions here. You need to make your own decision and based on what you have researched I would not let a shop make those decisions for me. If your research brought you to Clayton, hold to it and tell the shop that's what you want.
My opinion (see, I told ya). 37x12.50x17. I...
Huh? I respectfully disagree with your disagree (I'm having fun, don't get upset)
I have 37x12.50x17 BFG KO2's on stock 7.5 wheels. 3.6 Gas. At 55mph I am in 8th gear. Even on slight hills if I feather the gas to maintain speed it will stay in 8th. Granted I'm in Florida and everyone will say...
No need to take it to the dealer.
You just need to do exactly what the screen is telling you to do, inflate to 37psi. Until you get a programmer to adjust the minimum threshold for the tpms to go off, it will continue to do this when your tires go below the factory set threshold.
It's not broke.
Yeah, word on the street is Blackstone is backed up more than normal. Not sure why. You would think less people are sending in samples based on the current economy. Maybe Blackstone cut workers.
Some observations comparing my 2023 JTM
Base Price went up 2000
Auto Transmission went up 500
Spray in bedliner went up 25
Optional wheels went down 150
3rd Battalion / 75th Ranger at Ft. Benning Ga (circa 1984) testing a concept of Fast/Light/All Terrain/Firepower. Granted, it is with a M151 as the Willys was long gone by then. Before the HMMV. Can you tell I like this conversation.
