If you take off your Mopar steel bumper and replace it with Rough Country....well I'm not sure how many friends you will make on this forum.
Rough Country is something you would have found in the old JC Whitney catalog for yester-year. Buy at your own risk.
Frontal area is important. Also we who tow with a Gladiator need to consider a few others things besides tow rating.
1. Width of the trailer. If you can stay at or under 7ft, you will have a better experience.
2. Dual axle on a trailer. The JT is a light duty truck and wind can/will push your...
Your ARB Bondi is an awesome bumper. Old Man Emu and ARB make great products that will last. If I had an ARB on mine, it wouldn't get changed out.
Good looking JTM
Even if the previous owner disabled the TPMS, you will still see the dash display. It won't show any psi rating for the four tires, that information will be blank.
It will be in the settings where your oil pressure, transmission temp, voltage display is. There is a left right arrow giving your...
Huh? What does this even mean?
Before your trip to the dealer.
1. Lower air pressure to 32psi in all four tires. Who cares if your TPMS comes on, you are trouble shooting.
2. Check torque value on lug nuts.
3. Put a wrench on the axle side nut of the Track Bar. They are notoriously loose from...
I live between Mt. Dora and Mt. Plymouth, we have some extreme elevations. We can go from sea level to 10ft. above sea level in an instant. Yeah, 4L doesn't get much of a workout around here.
I'm referring to the 4:1 transfer case in regular off roading situations. I understand the benefit on...
Sounds like you may need to read a little more on the forum. The 2024's are coming very soon. What you see on lots right now are 2023's and once they are gone, they're gone. If you are still a couple months out from buying, I doubt you are going to find a 2023 optioned the way you want.
I've owned both and my current Mojave only has 2200 miles so far. I don't think you can go wrong on either model. But...there are specific parts that separate them and based on your off road demographic one of them will speak to you. Here is just my opinion.
1. The 4:1 transfer case is awesome...
I'm not here to debate all the above, just pointing out one note that has been left off.
The Mojave has a tow rating of 6000lbs. It doesn't reach the 7650lbs of the Max Tow because of the rear springs are rated differently. The Mojave has everything tow related that the Rubicon and Max Tow has...
I thought you said goodbye to us Jeep peasants a couple months ago? Already coming back?
I bought a 23 JTM in October. I immediately put 37's on it so I have no idea what MPG would have been stock. I do know the winter blend has dropped mine about 1mpg in the past month. Yes, Florida gets...
That's actually not accurate. I have both skid plates in my garage and they are identical in every way except the paint. The two links you posted are of different skid plates, so let me clarify this once again.
Link #1 - That is not the Rubicon skid plate. That is the optional skid plate that...
The Mojave skid plate is the same as the Rubicon, only painted silver. That should help narrow down bumpers that will work. From what I have seen, there are not many that work with the OEM skid.
This ^^^ is the only post that correctly explains what is going on.
Stock Mojave silver skid plate will not work with the OEM/Mopar Steel Bumper. Neither will the stock Rubicon black skid plate. Not without modifying the skid plate or the bumper.
The black skid plate that is designed for the...
I don't get snow where I live and don't plan on driving in it if I can help it. I have done some snow driving before and was always told low beams and amber fog lights in or below the bumper.
I personally use a fog/flood combination light for the foggy mornings we get. I don't use them in...
Not needed for the install and I personally would not use them for the intended purpose. I will not risk my life or my Jeeps life on a critical tow/pull point to China made material.
LOL, we are all on the bandwagon of don't use them. That should tell you something.
What "imput" are you looking for?
The GC came with 20" wheels for a reason. If it rides like crap I would suggest it is probably the tires, not the wheels. 20" tires obviously have less sidewall than an 18" tire, but do you think that is causing your crap ride?
Just because your Overland rides...
