  1. 2023 Mojave Gladiator Build - Metalcloak, ARB, Fox, RSI, Warn, Solis, 813 Fab...

I like how your build is going, good quality parts make a huge difference. 37" tires and 4.10 is very doable, but with the weight you are carrying it was probably a good idea to stay in the 35" range.
  2. What is this part? JTRD ‘23

LOL, is that even around anymore. I had the same thing when I bought my 2023 in October. Dealer didn't even mention it. A small sales brochure was included in my owners manual packet on how to subscribe and that was it. I pulled it as soon as I got home.
  3. Nice to be here

How much are you selling that present project for? Willing to ship? KevinC
  4. We’re screwed! [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS. MEMBERS BANNED]

I find it ironic when a post like this shows up all the people responding saying they are keeping their JT for a long time. So in essence, they don't care what is happening in the current market. Then a few months later these same people are either posting saying "good bye", or trading in...
  5. Morrison Jeep Trail

Doesn't look like a difficult trail. The 2 door has the same issues the 4 door had. The JT may struggle more on all those switchbacks and that may present more challenges than we are seeing in this video. I'm not sure I would take a JT knowing I can't turn around. KevinC
  6. Just Ordered? Check in HERE!

You got a much nicer/better wheel than what would have come on a Sport. At no additional cost to you. I would chalk that up to a win for "us" and quietly move along and not say anything. Good looking JT BTW. KevinC
  7. Gladiator Mojave just arrived!

That black grill looks good with that color. Who would have thought I needed heated seats in Florida. But it sure does loosen up my back on these cool mornings heading into work. KevinC
  8. Just Went to 33s / Do I Go to 4.30 or 4.56 ?

I wouldn't even consider regearing. 33" tires and 3.73 will be fine, especially in Florida. The question is did you recalibrate your speedometer? You need to do that when you change tire size from factory/stock. That may be why you shift points are off. KevinC
  9. What the Heck are These? In the Freedom Top Bag....

I've got two of them, one still in the original wrapper. Never thought of selling one because didn't think they were worth much. Kind of like the two plastic front bumpers, two set of rock rails and one Mojave skid plate. They are not worth much but I'm always thinking one day I may need it. So...
  10. I got a Jeep!

As we are on the subject of when to engage the transfer case into 4H or 4L, or when to engage the front/rear lockers. I'm not going to tell you this is the only way. But, I would much rather engage and drive/roll a few tire revolutions before the obstacle is encountered. That way everything has...
  11. 2021 Mojave manual replaced with 2023 Mojave automatic ? Law

My first vehicle (1969 IH Scout 800) leaked so much oil I never had to change it, just the filter. My first brand new vehicle (1987 Ford Bronco II) made it 12K miles and then everything started to break. Little things, but enough to keep it in the shop every month. KevinC
  12. 37’s on stock Mojave, no lift.

I will caveat, I had to trim 2 inch off the inner fender liner down by the lower control arm. After I trimmed it I added two washers to the steering stops. Probably didn't need to trim liners, but I did it first. So, as a owner of a Mojave and 37's, I can tell you it does not rub. BFG KO2's do...
  13. 37’s on stock Mojave, no lift.

And how did you come to this conclusion? Real world experience based on the OP area and type of terrain he drives? Those of us that have done the same thing (stock Mojave with 37's) can speak from real world experience. Mine does everything I've asked it to do with zero rubbing. KevinC
  14. Tire size change - can’t get at programming cables.

Since you paid for the JScan app, you might as well get your money worth. It can do a lot more than change your tire size. Important things I have done 1. Adjust the TPMS down to 28PSI. I run 32-33 PSI in my 37x12.50x17 BFG KO2. If my PSI get below 28 I'm still good to drive but getting the...
  15. It Happened, Camper has been purchased!!!

Grand Design is a well made camper. Good choice. As someone who towed a Winnebago 2106DS with a dry weight of around 4K, your JT will struggle a little on hills. As yours is also a single axle, semi trucks passing you on the interstate can be tricky. I might look into a Sway Control product...
  16. TheTrailGeek - Gator Green Jeep Gladiator Rubicon Build

Those quivers are nice, good quality. Murphy, NC, oh how I remember you twice a year (March and November) on our Tellico trips. Tellico was the ultimate off road experience for us Florida folks. Murphy was a great town to set up base. The steak house across the highway from the "new" WalMart...
  17. Warped's Mojave Build

The AEV bumper is a bear to put together, I'm sure you are glad you had the shop do it. Looking good. KevinC
  18. OTD Quote on 23 Mojave Punkn

I bought mine September 29th and got 20% off MSRP. Why are they only offering 10% now? The dealer I bought from still have five JT's on their lot and as of today, still discounted 20%. I don't think you are getting a good deal. 10% is 6K. KevinC
  19. Fuel economy dropping

Even Florida gets winter blend fuel. I have noticed a decrease in MPG in just the last two weeks. I will also note that the wind has picked up and that also effects every Jeep brick going down the road. KevinC
