I can't imagine what the locking pliers are being used for on a "new" vehicle. Maybe there's a reason but nothing comes to mind..... The other thing that looks odd to me is that it appears the auxiliary battery is still connected.

Yep, not something I’d recommend. Along with draining the oil, filling the crankcase with kerosene to free up stuck rings. And not to forget shoving bananas in the diff to quiet gear whine....

This may sound strange but I prefer a spray in liner and a rubber bed mat. I had a spray in liner put in my old F250 and found it to be "slippery" for some cargo. I added a rubber mat and things stayed in place better. To each his/her own but for me this combination, while expensive, works...
