Yes, extended brake lines and adjustable track bar. Track bar is not 100% needed but if you don't do it your front axle will most likely be off-center by roughly 3/4 to a full 1 inch.
@NJMAXX Sorry 5:45am here so these pictures are not great but I am hoping they help. The hood cutout has a hard plastic flange for lack of better words on the inside. You will then see the air intake portion of the kit that is mounted to the inside of the passenger fender well. The hood cut out...
@NJMAX The Mopar CAI comes with what you call a port/tube that runs from the air filter to the port that you cut in the hood. In my opinion you would reduce air intake if you installed the air filter and port/tube without the cut out as it would then stop at the edge of your hood significantly...
Personally I find the ride unbearable every time I get my oil changed they inflate my tires to mfg suggested PSI. As others have shared I did the chalk test and found that 30 psi front and 29.5psi rear was the answer for my setup. Every combo of vehicle, tire, wheel etc will have a g-spot so...
I brought the battery disconnect up to the Dealership and they said they disconnect all batteries before the work. I also disconnected the batteries (primary and the little lawnmower one) and let it sit overnight. I did not push the brake pedal to drain any capacitors as someone shared a few...
I am feeling the need to respond to the folks recommending a Tazer. I hear you and agree 100% this may ultimately be the solution. That said I would much rather install a Tazer to address bells and whistles I want vs. a bandaid for poor software quality control from Jeep.
I paid a premium...
I brought this to the dealerships attention a few months ago. They said this is a totally different issue and that yes, they did the top gear relearn after lift/tires and then again after the gear change.. The ongoing issue I am having is when they change the programming from 4:10 to 4:88 then...
NOPE. ZERO communication from anyone! I have put thousands of miles on it and had it back to the dealership for oil change/tire rotate and the "software fix" is not available yet. I have pretty much written it off as a lost cause.
Just completed a decent trip. Sept 19th left Rockwall TX at 3:30am CDT and stopped in Ouray CO at 6:00pm MNT (976 miles). I only stopped for gas and bio breaks. 7 days later did Grand Junction Co to Rockwall TX w/ a detour to the taxidermist (roughly 1100 miles). Left at 6:30am MNT and pulled...
Owned a high end car audio shop for 7 years in the early 90's. IMO and as MX5RED stated just swapping out speakers may not accomplish what you want. Usually better speakers require more power to operate correctly. If you want to spend some $'s and not installing an AMP find the lowest power...
I thought my Gladiator got a lot of attention before. Hauled this bad boy home 1100 miles on Saturday. It was hard to get out of gas stations because everyone wanted pictures.
I originally had it installed at a local (highly recommended)off road/Jeep shop. When I left the shop the ESS light came on and said it was inoperable. I found an email address for Taser and they responded within 24 hours and said to take it out, reset and start over. I not only took it out I...
Shadow Papa, Can you change gearing from 4:10 to 4:88's with the OBDLink MX+? I am having a heck of a time with my taser and the non existent customer service from them is making me look for another solution. I need to correct tire size, TPMS and gears. Thanks in advance for any feedback.
